Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 5 + Giveaway (over $2,000 in Total Prizes)

Hello and welcome to Day 5 of the Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop! I am so thrilled to be joining in to congratulate and celebrate Altenew!

Today I have made a project using some of my favorite products (and you KNOW it’s not easy to narrow it down!) I love the dies and embossing folders from Altenew, so I’ve put them together for this card.

Oh, that Dreamy tile embossing folder is so so beautiful!! Here I gently swiped an ink cube (in 2 colors) over the top to get color on the embossed portions. I have a video of how this came together, and I’ve linked it below for you:

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Don’t forget there are some great promotions during their 8th Anniversary Celebration!! Like these detailed blending brushes…I LOVE them and you can get them F*REE with a qualifying purchase:

Wild Cheetah Card

Hello! Today I have a Cheetah card to share using multiple stencils from Miss Ink Stamps. I love how striking this card turned out and it’s so easy!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I used the mask stencil from Cheetah Portrait stencil to begin…I LOVE that the mask stencil was included. There are so many options you can do with this mask included!

I inked the background first with one of my favorite colors, then I added the Cheetah Spots using the same colors. After that, I was able to ink on the Cheetah using the layers of the stencil. (see all the details in my video)!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. Patterned Background Design with Sprays

Hello! Today I have a favorite technique to share…using stencils and sprays. I created a short video to show the technique, watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

This is a favorite technique…and I challenge you to try this with at least 2 different stencils and 2 different colors for one panel! It’s surprising and fun to see what you get in the end.

I hope you enjoyed this video and technique today. I’ll be back soon with more cards to share!

Chocolate Truffles

Hello! Today I have a delicious post to share with Chocolate Truffles on a card! I also am creating a Chocolate Heart Box (that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day), but the chocolate truffles can be used all year.

Watch my video below or in HD on YouTube:

I’ve been so excited to share this, but had to wait for these to come back in stock again (they have sold out twice!) So, while this is after Valentine’s Day…the truffles can still be used at any time of year!

For the chocolate truffles, I die cut them with some white pearlized paper and colored them with Copic markers in brown, pink and grey. I built them up with foam squares to get a 3-D look.

I am completely in love with these boxes and can’t wait to make more for next year! I will use different patterned paper to get different looks. There is also an accent die that you can cut out a heart shape on the top of the box and replace it with acetate to make a see-through box lid!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I just love those little truffles with their liners.
