Crafting a Pansy

Hello! Today I have a fun video with some die-cutting techniques for Crafty a Pansy. I love pansies, my grandmother loved pansies, my Dad loved pansies…and these cards are dedicated to my memory of them!

I am also using some “leftover foil” to create the backgrounds of these cards. The shine and the shimmer from the foil and the Mica Spray really make them pop!

Llots of Llove (Llama Valentine)

Hello, today I have a card with Llots of Llove: a Llama Valentine! Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I just love the Coffee Cup Shaker Die…which I used on this card, but did not turn it into a shaker card. I have used this die many times in the past, and was excited to create with it again in a different way.

The sentiment is from the Perfect Blend stamp set, and that Llama is from the Llamazing Llamas stamp set. Such a cute llama!!

I blended Oxide inks on some kraft cardstock first, then I used the same stencil on some white cardstock for the coffee cup sleeve.

The little tag was perfect for the “llots of llove” stamp from the same Llama set. I hope you smile at a llama with his tea cup to go!

Churro Love

Hello! Today I have a very special Churro Love card and video to share! It’s a quick video, so I hope you will check it out below or on YouTube:

This is a sweet little new stamp set called “Churrific” and it makes me hungry for churros! Lol. Sadly, I just found out that my Costco is no longer serving churros at the snack bar. So I guess all my churros will be in CARD FORM! (which is better for my diet anyway…ha ha).

Try this Masking Stencil Idea

Hello! Today I have a new Masking Stencil idea for you to try! I am creating a Valentine card with adorable stamps and stencils from Miss Ink Stamps.

I started out with a stencil that had much white space in between the stencil pattern. Then I used a MASKING stencil in a new way: to mask off the first stencil to be able to add ink to the white space! I hope you will watch the video to see what I mean.
