GOAT Valentine

Hello, today I’m making a GOAT Valentine (greatest of all time!) using Miss Ink Stamps. This Punny Goat set really makes me smile, and the sentiment “You make my Heart Bleat” was too cute! So with a little ink blending, stenciling, coloring, and fussy cutting…we will get this cute card.

Watch the video for all the details AND hear my funny story about a goat:

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. Ink Blended Blossoms

Hello! It’s Kari here and I’m back after a little card-making break. I find that card making is such a great way to help in healing sadness, and today this card made me VERY HAPPY! Especially since I ink blended those blossoms instead of coloring them. It’s a very easy shortcut and so, so beautiful!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

This card is my most favorite card I’ve made all year! Lol…well, it’s my only card I’ve made all year. That sounds so strange to say. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I love this look and love how fast this card came together. For the background, I first taped around the edge and ink blended Speckled Egg Distress Ink in the center. Then I added the stencil and ink blended some more. This adds a subtle look, with added interest for your background.

I stamped the images with my new favorite black ink (see below for link) and then blended Picked Raspberry Distress ink over the top. THIS INK DIDN’T SMEAR!! Yeah!

Then I colored up the leaves with BG11 & BG15 Copics. So fast. To add extra sparkles, I put liquid adhesive in the center of each flower and sprinkled on some iridescent and sand glitter.

You’re An Angel Card

Hello, today I have a card dedicated to my Dad, who is currently in ICU on a ventilator fighting for his life. I am sorry that I have few words today, but I do have a video to share with this angel card featuring stamps from Miss Ink Stamps.

First Rule of 2021

Hello! I’m back with a Wonderland card where the Queen of Hearts has given her first RULE! (Lol) Apparently this rule applies to us and also to those in Wonderland.

I chose some really bright colors for this palette! But I do love a bright colored card sometimes. Check out the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love how she’s pointing at Alice to make this statement! I colored up those mushrooms from the Pumpkin Spice Gnomes set and mirror imaged one of the large mushrooms. I wanted them to sort of “frame” the sentiment.

And see that keyhole in the background?! That’s from the “Knock Knock” stencil. This set is so cool because they include the negative pieces with the stencils so you can do a lot of neat techniques!

I added quite of bit of extra bling and detail to this card with a glitter pen, Nuvo drops, and embellishments. I don’t think you can ever have too much “extra.” Lol…at least on a card!

I hope you enjoyed this fun project today! Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget about the RULE for 2021!!

Who Wants a Hippopotamus for Christmas?

Hello! Today I am turning some regular hippos into Christmas hippos and making TWO cards! These cute hippos are from Miss Ink Stamps, and I’ll bet you can guess the song that inspired me to make these cards.

I have a video on the process and I’m sharing some more tips on stretching stencils and stamps to create more with your supplies! Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

Aren’t these hippos cute! I’ll bet you would never guess that the red ribbon is really seaweed from that set. Lol. Another great trick to stretch your stamp sets!

I colored up so many of the hippos that I decided to make a slimline card, too!

That glitter is the beautiful Dazzle Dust from Miss Ink that changes colors in the light! This one is blue and it has a green shift to it. So pretty!

Well, I really hope I didn’t cause that song to run through your head (like it did for mine the entire time I was making this card). But really, if the hippos are as cute as these stamps, count me in for having one on my wish list!

Happy Holidays! I’ll be back soon with more cards.
