Heart Shaped Cards

Hello! I have some heart shaped cards to share with you. I am using the Pretty Bird Stamp set from Miss Ink stamps for these valentines, so I guess they are Valentines “Cawds”!

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

I made two different cards using different techniques: one using a masking technique, and one with glitter gel and a stencil.

This one uses a mask over the Wooden Heart stamp. I love to make it look a little more 3D using markers.

The second one is the glittery one! Oh how I love a glittery heart!

The sentiment is on the inside

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! See you soon with more cards!

Sleepy Bear Card

Hello! Today I am smiling at this Sleepy Bear card that I have to share. It’s a favorite bear stamp set (from Miss Ink Stamps) that I’ve paired with a favorite stencil.

See the video below or on YouTube:

Just how cute are these bears?! This card uses NO MASKING at all…I show you how easy you can build a scene like this in the video above.

I first stamped out all my images, then I stenciled on that sky in greens, blues, and purples!

Next I colored up all the images. I used some Blue-greens on those trees (thinking of a Blue Spruce here!

For some more magic, I added some white embossing paste through the Sparkles stencil on the top; and some glitter on the snowy scene on the bottom of the panel.

Easy Gift Card Holders

Hello! This time of year I am always in need of cute gift card holders, so today I have some EASY gift card holders to share!

I’m using some cute stamps and a new stencil called Cuppa Joe to Go from Miss Ink Stamps. Watch the video below or on YouTube:

These gift card holders are perfect to add into a stocking, hang on the tree or use them like I am this year: as a necklace around a Squishmallow!

Have an Ice Day

Hello! Today I’m excited to be sharing one of my favorite penguin cards I’ve ever made! I do love penguins and especially penguins that make me smile, and this set from Miss Ink Stamps is a favorite.

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

How cute are these penguins?!? I love them..and there are quite a few more penguin images in the stamp set, too. Today I chose 2 penguins and the snowbank for this card.

I started out by stenciling those trees using the treeline stencil. I used a variety of Distress Oxide inks: Tumbled Glass, Uncharted Mariner, Pine Needles, Peeled Paint, and Twisted Citron.

Next, I added some Grit Paste Snowfall and then added some extra glitter while it was still wet. I love a good glitter background!

While that was drying, I colored up those penguins and the snowbank. I embossed the sentiment in white and inked on some Uncharted Mariner ink for a “matching” sentiment.

When the background was dry, I put it all together with foam tape. I also added some glitter paper to the bottom of the panel for extra shine!

I hope you loved this project today! I’ll be back real soon with more cards to share!
