Hello! Today I have a rainbow card for you adding some Dazzle Dust Glitter. I’m sharing a technique that makes sure that glitter doesn’t come off your card!!
I love this stencil from Miss Ink Stamps, it’s great for adding lots of color (or just a few colors like I did today).
The Dazzle Dust I used today is Moody Blues and it shifts in color from blues to greens when you hold it in the light. So so pretty!
I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you love glitter and rainbows as much as I do! See you soon with more cards…
Hello! I have a fun birthday card to share today with a new stamp set called “Perfect Match.” This set is a smaller set and is filled with fun sentiments. I especially love the one that says “You’re Still hot, it just comes in flashes now.”
Ha ha ha! That’s the one that I ended up using on my card today. Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:
I’m sharing some fun resources and TIPS for creating quick birthday cards. For example, if you are in a hurry for a card, try using patterned paper instead of creating your own background.
Also, use larger sentiments or alpha dies to fill up the card.
Can you see the glitter I added to the matches and flames? I love my Stardust Stickles!

Hello, today I have a sad post to write. I am sad to create this card today, but grateful for my very special furry friend. My dog, Snickers, has crossed the rainbow bridge. He lived a very long life…he was 17 1/2 years old! But his body was done, and he left us on Tuesday evening.
I created this card before he died, but I didn’t do the voiceover for the video for 2 days afterwards. I think I held it together enough to get the video done, luckily it’s a short video!
The most difficult part of loving a pet is saying goodbye. I agree. It was so hard for me to lose my sweet Snickers. He would spend HOURS with me in the craft studio and since he’s been gone, I haven’t created anything new.
I do believe it will get easier. And there will be a time when I wake up not expecting him to be there. But today, I am still looking for him, and waiting to hear that jingle walking behind me…
I love adding foil to a stenciled card. I show you just how I did it in the video above. And while this is a simple card, it holds quite a lot of meaning.

Hello! Today I have FOUR cards to share with you using Toner sheets to create four easy foiled backgrounds.
I recently fell in love with these toner sheets, and I have a video sharing just how to create them so EASILY with this one trick. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:
I started with some kraft Toner Sheets called Chic Chevrons and foiled it with the beautiful Lapis Watercolor foil (all supplies listed below). This created a great background, but I still had quite a bit of beautiful foil that hadn’t been used. So I took that LEFTOVER foil and put in on a toner sheet and ran it thru the Minc machine. BAM! Another beautiful foiled background to create a card!
That sentiment cracks me up…it’s a Simple Sentiment from Maker Forte! So many great ones in this kit that you can cut out and use on cards (or foil them up, too!) They are printed on toner sheets so they are also easily foiled!
I really couldn’t stop there! I tried some NEW TO ME Clear Toner Sheets next with flowers on them. These foil up so great! I tried the Summer Rainbow foil on them this time.
And of course I used the LEFTOVER foil from this one to create a second card!
Watch the video to see how I created all the detail on the Queen of Hearts dress, too! She wanted the roses red…and we got some of them right! But still she exclaims “Off With their Heads!” (You gotta love the Queen of Hearts).

I hope you loved these easy foiled backgrounds today! These were fun to create. There are prizes to be won over at the Miss Ink Stamps blog and Thermoweb blog all this week. So head on over and leave a comment for your chance to win!
