Hello, today I have a Back to School card to share using a positive affirmation. I’ve combined a few stamp sets together from Miss Ink Stamps for this one!
I created that background using one of my favorite stencils Basket Case, and a small apple image from the Little Angel stamp set. This makes such a fun patterned paper that you could use for any project, today I am using it as my card background.
I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
Hope you enjoy the Back to School season! Thanks for stopping by!
Hello! Today I have a fun Elvis card…in the Hall of Fame! I’m using a cute little set from Miss Ink Stamps called Thank You Very Much.
Did you know Elvis is the only performer that was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Hall of Fame, AND the Gospel Hall of Fame? That’s so cool.
That is what gave me the the idea to create this card. Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:
This is such a fun little set, and I used GOLD and SILVER ink to make those records in the background.
I know the REAL Elvis had dark hair, almost black hair, but I made mine with brown hair to match my color scheme. And I felt like a white jump suit was too plain…so my Elvis has a purple/blue jump suit with a lime green jacket! LOL. Now there’s some color!

Hello! Today I have a card that has been in my head for a while, and I finally made some time to create it. I paired the Cloud Heart stencil with the Smoking Caterpillar stamp set for a fun slimline card!
In my video I share how this card came together, and a bit of my Copic coloring process (which has been requested!)
I also share how to add some fun texture and dimension to this card for so much interest.
I always love creating with the Alice sets from Miss Ink Stamps, and this Caterpillar set is a new one in my collection! So I was so happy to color him up.
Isn’t that fun to have the smoke in the shape of heart clouds?!

I hope you enjoyed this project today! I really had fun making it, and I can’t wait to make my next Alice card. See you next time!
Hello! Today I have some Wavy Background stencils to share, and I create a watery scene. I love the new stencils, and I paired them with a sweet hippopotamus from Miss Ink Stamps.
To create the “splashes” I used the Fancy Shells stencil with embossing powder and glitter. I love the texture and the shine this adds!
