Easy Gift Card Holders

Hello! This time of year I am always in need of cute gift card holders, so today I have some EASY gift card holders to share!

I’m using some cute stamps and a new stencil called Cuppa Joe to Go from Miss Ink Stamps. Watch the video below or on YouTube:

These gift card holders are perfect to add into a stocking, hang on the tree or use them like I am this year: as a necklace around a Squishmallow!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Holidays!

Have an Ice Day

Hello! Today I’m excited to be sharing one of my favorite penguin cards I’ve ever made! I do love penguins and especially penguins that make me smile, and this set from Miss Ink Stamps is a favorite.

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

How cute are these penguins?!? I love them..and there are quite a few more penguin images in the stamp set, too. Today I chose 2 penguins and the snowbank for this card.

I started out by stenciling those trees using the treeline stencil. I used a variety of Distress Oxide inks: Tumbled Glass, Uncharted Mariner, Pine Needles, Peeled Paint, and Twisted Citron.

Next, I added some Grit Paste Snowfall and then added some extra glitter while it was still wet. I love a good glitter background!

While that was drying, I colored up those penguins and the snowbank. I embossed the sentiment in white and inked on some Uncharted Mariner ink for a “matching” sentiment.

When the background was dry, I put it all together with foam tape. I also added some glitter paper to the bottom of the panel for extra shine!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you loved this project today! I’ll be back real soon with more cards to share!

Light Up your Card

Hello! Today I have a Light up Jack-O-Lantern Card video to share. This is an easy way to create a Jack-o-Lantern (easier than carving it!) that lights up. I couldn’t love this interactive card any more than I already do. I hope you enjoy!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

When I told my husband I wanted to color this pumpkin house PURPLE, he was skeptical. But I had a vision in my head and to make it come to life was such fun! I used some darker shades of Copic markers in purple and I just love the effect.

I used some EZ Lights again and they are so easy and fun! I think the coloring on this card took LONGER than making it light up. LOL. I share just how to do this in my video.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

So now here’s the question: will you make a Jack-o-Lantern card? Thanks for stopping by today!

The Magical Mirror

Hello! Today I have a magical mirror card to share! This is a fun one and I’m using the new Magical Collection from Miss Ink Stamps.

I have a video sharing all details, watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I used the new Magical Stars stencil for the background, and inked it up in a rainbow of colors. Then I offset the stencil to add some gold glitter stars in between that rainbow of stars!

I love that this Heart’s Desire stamp set has coordinating dies. The dies allowed me to cut out the center of the mirror and replace it with MIRROR CARDSTOCK! See my video for how I colored the mirror to look like wood-grain.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this magical project today! I’ll see you soon with more cards!
