Poppy Cards 3 Ways

Hello! Today I’m sharing 3 different ways to use 1 poppy flower stamp. This stamp is one of my favorites from the beautiful May 2019 Hedgehog Hollow kit. I just couldn’t stop at one card!

My first card features Copics and dimensional poppies. My second card in this picture features watercoloring layers. And the third card features heat embossing on vellum. I’m sharing some tips for hiding that adhesive on the vellum!

Floral Arranging with Stencils

Hello! I’m here with a card share and a PAPER flower arrangement using the new May 2019 Hedgehog Hollow Kit.

This kit is so full of beautiful florals, but I tried to focus and pick just one stamp to use with this card! Lol. I am also using the stencil in this kit to give the flowers in the jar look BIGGER and take up more space on the card.

World Bee Day card

Hey there! Did you know today is World Bee Day? Well, I couldn’t resist making a card with some cute bees from Paper Smooches.

I used a hexagon embossing folder on the background, inked it up with Distress Oxides and added lots of cuteness from Paper Smooches:

The Layered Hello die is always a favorite of mine. The bees are from the Lots of Love set, and the flowers are from the Friendly Flowers set. I have a special place in my heart for Paper Smooches, because this is the company that got me back into stamping many years ago.

I just love that you can combine sets to make such a happy card like this one. Here’s a close up for you:

I had such a wonderful time creating this card. I hope you enjoyed this project. I also have a healthy respect for honeybees…they are such hard workers. And, did you know that aerodynamically they really shouldn’t be able to fly at all? But the bees don’t know that, so they go ahead and fly anyway.

See, they are inspirational as well!

Hedgehog In The Desert

Hello! Today I am a part of the Hedgehog Hollow YouTube Hop, where the theme is all things Hedgehogs! There are prizes to be won, so be sure to visit us at the hop to enter to win (details at the end of this post).

Today I made some fun Hedgehogs In the Desert cards. Since I’m from Arizona, it was fun for me to think of what a hedgehog would be like here in the desert. I image he would fall right in love with a cactus!

So in my video, I show you how to make an easy Desert Sunset background, and put together this cutie card!
