Rainbow Clover Cards (and ink comparison)

Hello! Today I have three Rainbow Clover cards to share! It’s appropriate for this St. Patrick’s Day, right? I LOVE these sets today from Colorado Craft Company.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I made three different cards with three different ink companies: PinkFresh Studios, Catherine Pooler and Maker Forte. I chose some nice, light colors to create the rainbows.

Card 1: Pinkfresh Studio Inks

I made all these cards at the same time, stamping the first arc of the rainbow on three different panels (using a different ink company on each panel). Here is the Pinkfresh Studio Ink rainbow:

2. Catherine Pooler Inks

3. Maker Forte Inks

Which one is YOUR favorite?

Sending a Little Luck

Hello! Today I’m sending you a little luck with this green rainbow card! I love making St. Patricks Day cards with green and a touch of gold. Today I’m using the Rainbow Builder Stencil from Miss Ink Stamps.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love the look of green with gold! Here I used some Mirror Cardstock to cut out the word “Luck.”

I used the Rainbow Builder stencil for this, and instead of adding the included heart, I changed it for a clover from the Pick A Card stencil!

For the second card, I used some Lunar Paste for the touch of gold.

Cherry Blossoms in Bloom!

Hello! It’s Kari with a new video to share. Today I’m creating a spring card using the Magnolia Sympathy stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps. These flowers make perfect cherry blossoms.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love this set for spring…you really can have a lot of fun building up any bouquet look. Here I stamped the branches and extra flowers and leaves to create my bundle.

After I stamped on the flowers, I used the Diagonal Stripes stencil to add some shades of blue.

I added some Grit Paste through the Heirloom Blooms stencil. It reminds me of pollen…and that’s a perfect nod to Spring!! LOL.

Then I added some of the extra flowers and leaves with foam tape for some dimension. This was a fun card to create! I hope you enjoy!

Stealing a Kiss under the Umbrella!

Hello! Today I have a card with a couple stealing a kiss under the umbrella! I’m using the new J’Adore card Kit from Scrappy Tails Crafts.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

This card kit has so much included: a large stamp set, a die set, a 6×6 paper pad, a layering stencil, and two packs of embellishments! Watch the video to see all that is included in the kit.

For this card I used the die set, the stamp set and some of the embellishments out of the kit. This die set is such a delight to work with! There is a base layer that allows you to add on each of the details of the die. I used ink blending to color up the elements this time, except for the skin…for that I colored with Copic markers.

That Scooter is from the stamp set…and I colored it up with blue markers. I love the idea of a scooter on a cobblestone path!

Sweet Spa Valentine with Vellum

Hello! Today I have a Sweet Spa Valentine with Vellum featuring some stencils and stamps from Miss Ink Stamps.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

How cute is that furry doggie?! I love the colors pink and grey together so I went with that color scheme for this card.

This card was so fun to make! I started out by stenciling on those large paw prints with some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. Then I die cut a heart from some light pink cardstock. I stenciled on the heart paw prints from the Pawstome Stencil using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.

I cut a vellum heart just larger than the pink heart. This will diffuse the background and draw the eye to the center of the card.

After coloring the image and stamping the sentiment, I put it all together using foam tape and liquid adhesive. For all the details, enjoy the short process video.
