Portrait Frame Cards

Hello! I’m happy to be sharing some Portrait Frame Cards with the new Whimsy Stamps release! I have a video sharing the details below or on YouTube:

The new Portrait Frames dies come in three sizes, a larger frame that fits on an A2 card (see the card below) and 2 smaller sizes. For my first card, I combined the Portrait Frames with the new Fairy Special stamp set and Pastel Plaid paper. Isn’t this the cutest fairy?

Next, I made a mini slimline card using the medium sized Portrait Frame. Again, I used the new Fairy Special stamp set (I love these fairies!) and the Gulliver’s Garden paper. I added a few gems to her wings, and some ink blending to the woodgrain paper on the frame.

For the next card, I used the largest frame AND the smallest frame to make a fun spring card. The sentiment is from the Hello, Friend stamp set and I found a cute bee and snail for my mini portraits. I have linked everything below for you!

Whimsy also has a new sticky note set you can use on your cards, to write your sentiment and allow your recipient to pass the card along!

This gallery wall card is the card I made in my video to show you how fun it is to build up a gallery wall with mini portraits. So so fun!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed all these projects today! I sure had fun making them. See you soon with more cards to share,

Kari

Spring Chipboard Shakers

Hello! I recently received some new Chipboard Shakers from Cobblestone Creek Studios! Come along with me as I unbox them and create 3 cute Spring Shakers…

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

These Chipboard Shakers are fun to personalize and paint! For some, I even used oxide Inks! Watch the video to see the tricks for using inks on these.

I love to create these and try new strategies for coloring them. I even used some patterned paper on a few of them! These are the 3 I create with you in the video, but there are soooo many more options:

The Bunny Silhouettes look so cute for this mini postage shaker…I added some beautiful Pastel Plaid paper in the background for this one. This bunny set is a new die set from Whimsy Stamps, and I love it! You can add tails in different colors and patterns (here I did chocolate bunnies with little pink tails!)

Who can resist a sweet Highland Cow Shaker?! I made this one with my granddaughter (who is 6 years old) and she loved choosing the colors and the shaker bits for it!

For a real chocolate looking drip, add distress oxides or brown shiny lacquer to the design, like I did here!

For the cute bug lovers, how about a butterfly in a jar shaker….or a little ladybug shaker?!? These may be my favorites!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these shaker projects today! Stop by Cobblestone Creek Studios to see all the varieties of shakers they offer! Happy Spring,

Foxy Square Shaker for Valentine’s Day

Hello! Today I have a Foxy Square Shaker for Valentine’s Day. This is a fun one and I just love this fox image! Watch the video below or on YouTube:

This shaker is unique because I used a RECTANGLE frame die and did some selective die cutting to make it a square. I love a square shaker….and it’s the perfect size to frame those trees.

The frame is cut from a copper glitter cardstock, which is a great compliment to the vibrant foxes! I share how I colored up those foxes in the video, so I hope you’ll take a look.

The happy smiling foxes are my favorite! I used some pink irridescent shaker pieces for the shaker part to coordinate with my pink trees, pink grass, and blush pink hearts on the frame. So fun!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Thanks for stopping by today! See you soon with more cards!

Christmas Gingerbread Syrup

Hello! I have some new cards and a Christmas Gingerbread Syrup video to share today…with some of my favorite new products.

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

This gingerbread syrup bottle is made with a die that came out at Halloween: the Potion Bottle die set. But this can be altered and decorated to use for Christmas and other holidays, too!

Here’s a bunch of cards I created with these bottles and the NEW Christmas Washi Labels. I love all these products, and it’s so fun to mix them up to create new looks.

You can even make shaped cards or TAGS with these potion bottles. Here are some shaker tags I created using my favorite Mix & Mingle Alphabet die set to create the Joy and Merry words. The blue one features the Christmas Washi labels.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I really had a great time creating these.
