Heart Clouds: Stencil technique

Hello! Today I have another stencil technique for you, using one of my favorite stencils: The Heart Cloud stencil from Miss Ink Stamps.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I absolutely adore the heart clouds you can make with this stencil. Here I added it to the center of the cards, but you can certainly add more hearts! To make that rainbow in the center, I added a stencil ON TOP of this stencil. It’s a fun technique.

For the hearts, I used the same rainbow stencil and some sticky embossing powder. I heat set it just until the embossing powder went clear. Then I sprinkled the Dazzle Dust glitter over the top and heat set it again to “lock it in.”

Watch the video for a full description of how to do this.

My second card features the Heart Cloud with another one of my favorite stencils: Square Dance.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these cards today!

Six Impossible Things

Hello! Today I have a card with Alice! You know I love this series of stamps from Miss Ink Stamps, and today I have a NEW stamp set called “Wonderland Wisdom” that I’m creating a card with.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love this saying and it makes me think: I should be thinking impossible things! (or at least dreaming!)

Can you see that extra shine I added with the small stars and glitter?! This is a fun card to create and I absolutely love that stencil in the background.

Stencil Ideas you Might Not Think of

Hello! Today I have a video sharing Five Stencil Ideas you Might Not Think of. I’m sharing some new stencils from Miss Ink Stamps that are so beautiful and delicate.

Normally, with stencils like this, I would recommend using Pixie Spray. But I found a new tool that I LOVE for holding stencils in place. I’m sharing all the details and the stencil techniques in my video below:

This Alice card might be my favorite paired with the Heirloom Blooms stencil. I used a selective stenciling technique and added a little sparkle!

For this card, I doubled up on the stencils: using Basket Case as the base and added some Heirloom Blooms. This is easy and fun…and I share it all in the video!

A picture doesn’t do this one justice! I used the new Kaleidoscope Stencil with sticky embossing powder and added glitter! The Dazzle Dust changes from a pink glitter to iridescent and it is beautiful.

I love this Lucky Duck! I used a technique I like to call “Patchwork Stenciling” with two different colors of ink.

And this one is a radiating inking with added gemstones. So pretty! This is the Latte Love stencil and it’s a favorite!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. Leprechaun Gnome

Hi again, it’s time for some lucky cards….and today I have a gnome that I’ve turned into a leprechaun! I love this little gnome and I think he works perfectly on this card.

I have a video showing you all the details, including how to make a rainbow with just three colors. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

Isn’t he just so cute as a leprechaun?!

I used some of the Dazzle Dust from Miss Ink stamps and look how it changes colors! It’s awesome how it changes from blue to green! I also added plenty of other sparkle here, of course.

I hope you enjoyed this fun card today! I’ll see you soon with more cards!
