Geo Jungle Card with the Hedgehog Hollow

Hello! Today I’m sharing a Geo Jungle card using the Hedgehog Hollow June 2020 Kit. This is a favorite kit of mine and today I turned the zoo animals into JUNGLE animals!

All these stamps are from the kit, including that large “Kind” stamp (I love it!) To see the details on this card, visit the Hedgehog Hollow blog here.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Witches Brew Cards

Hello! What IS in a witch’s brew anyway? Lol. Today I have a couple Halloween cards using a favorite sentiment of mine: “Best Witches.”

Best Witches!

This is a fun card to make! I have a video showing you how, watch it below or on YouTube:

The second card uses much of the same products, with a little more of a twist.

For this one, I inked the background with the domed blending tools and some distress oxides in greens & blues. Then I added some water to create that oxide look. I cut some clouds to represent the witches brew, then popped up the witch legs behind the brew. I added some clear droplets, bats and stickles.

I hope you liked these fun Halloween cards. This is about as spooky as it gets around here, folks! Lol. Thanks for stopping by.

Masked Peacock Card

Hello there! Today as I am writing this, I realized that my title sounds like maybe you might be getting a Peacock Halloween card…or a peacock wearing a mask. Lol. Sorry, this post is not that.

But it IS an easy to mass produce, quick card with a peacock theme, which is almost as nice. Right? This is my last card share with the September 2019 Hedgehog Hollow Kit. It has such beautiful images!

Why blend in when you were born to stand out?

Here’s the how-to:

First, I masked off a portion of the card panel using 1 1/2″ purple tape
Second, I attached the stencil with tape and blended on three colors of ink using stencil blending brushes.
Then, I removed the tape and stencil, and covered up the stenciled feathers with some scrap paper.
I stamped the sentiment and the top portion of the peacock with black ink, added some gold washi, and attached it to a dark blue cardstock and card base. That’s it! Done!

A simple card, but so striking!

I hope you enjoyed this project today! I’ll be back soon with more inspiration!

How Rare and Beautiful You Are

Hello! Today I’m sharing a quick FALL card on my blog and YouTube channel. It feels like fall could be just around the corner for us here in Arizona…the days are cooler (less than 100 degrees!), and clouds are covering the sky today! I love fall.

We don’t get the changing leaves and fall colors here where I live, so I have to re-create that magical look on a card. Fall cards might be some of my favorites!

Beautiful fall leaves!

I have a quick video (less than 5 minutes….what?!) to show you the process for this card with fall colors! Watch it below or on YouTube:

How does the time fly by so fast? It’s September and already we are looking to the holidays coming up. But for now, let’s focus on FALL. I first inked up the background with stencil brushes and these new-to-me FALL ink pads from Scrapbook.com. I love these ink pads….they are hybrid inks so they are great for stamping, inking, watercoloring! Today they worked a charm for blending those fall leaves very quickly.

I die cut the inked panel using the Leaves cover die, then added that to three more die cut layers to create a sturdy piece. Then I layered those leaves on top of gold glitter paper. Fall always makes me think of gold, glitter, magic. 🙂 I added the sentiment strip and a few extra leaves to finish the card.

I’ve compiled a list of the products I’ve used, using affiliate links when possible. I’m often asked about the products, so this will make it easy. When you purchase using these links, I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue to bring you fun projects. I’m so grateful!

I hope you enjoyed this fall project. I’ll be back to share lots more card inspiration soon!

You are beautiful and unique
