Safari Shaker

Hello! Today I have a new Safari Shaker card and video to share. I’m sharing a very easy way to create a shaker card.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I just think these Safari animals are so cute! This is a great shaker technique…and I started out with the Go Wild A2 Frame Die, added some acetate and double-thick foam to create this shaker front.

The Sparkle Mixes from Heffy Doodle are absolutely my favorite because they not only have sequins, but they also have gems! I saved some of the gems to add to the front of the panel. Watch the video to see how easy this shaker is to create!

Creating the sentiment with Kraft cardstock shadow and green letters really reminds me of a safari! That is what helped me to choose these colors.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this shaker safari card today! I’ll be back with more cards to share soon.

Mini Valentine Shaker Notes

Hello! It’s an exciting day for me to share some Mini Valentine Shaker Notes…these are little note card sized shakers that are oh-so-sweet. I hope you enjoy!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

These note cards measure 3.5″ x 4.25″ so they are a nice little size to fit into a lunch bag or a briefcase! (Wink*) I love how easy they are to build up with the polaroid die from Whimsy Stamps. I will show you in the video how to make the “walls” to keep the shaker bits inside the shaker, and how to add the acetate topper.

I used a variety of stamps and dies to decorate the fronts of each card, all images that I LOVE!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

This Polaroid Die fits a slimline card, and for the mini cards I cut it apart to build up the shakers. It is also a cute design to make a slimline card, so I have included a sample of that here:

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day (aka Hugs Day!) filled with love. See you soon with more cards!

Double Oven Slimline Shaker Card

Hello! Today I have a Double Oven Slimline Shaker Card to share and Oh is it awesome! This new die from Whimsy Stamps is one of my new favorites…and I don’t think it’s hard to see why. Just take a look at the video and photos below!

I’ve share all the details and how-to in the video so it’s easy! I love the little oven mitt and potholder. I also used the NEW Baking die set to add in the pie and the turkey (how cute are they)?!?

I do think this slimline oven is the cutest as a shaker card, but you certainly don’t have to make it into a shaker. I added some peppermint embellishments to my shaker (they just remind me of the holidays)!

I just had to make a mint green shaker oven…inspired by my new mini fridge at my office! It’s so cute and retro!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this project today. I sure had a great time making it. I’d love to hear your favorite holiday baking recipes! Leave me a comment below or on the video and tell me…do you make pies?!

Yay Shaker Card

Hello! Today I have a fun YAY Shaker card to share with the cutest Back-to-School Hedgehog stamp set. I just adore this set and you will see why…check out my video below or in HD on YouTube:

If you know me, you know I love making Hedgehog cards and (dare I say this?) THIS hedgehog might be the cutest one yet!

I mean, look how cute he is!!

I love to make a good shaker card…this new YAY Word die is perfect for a shaker! It feels so happy, like you just want to shake it…so why not add some beads and sequins?

I started out with choosing my PINK PLAID paper from the new 6×6 pack (I will link it below). Then I stamped the Hedgehog image and cut the YAY word die from the same panel. Before putting the shaker together, I colored up that little hedgehog with Copic markers.

I created a shaker using acetate and double-thick foam tape. This makes it SO EASY! You don’t have to double up your foam tape, and that’s a big time saver and a WIN in my book.

Watch the video for my easy technique to make this shaker, and get that pink plaid border lined up all the way around!

Be sure to check out the entire new release over at Whimsy Stamps…the new narwhal stamp set is also so adorable!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

The Cheerleader die set is another one of my favorites! I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I’ll see you real soon with more cards to share.
