Make a Full Shaker Owl Card

Hello! Today I’m sharing how to make a full shaker owl card with the amazing die set called Postage, Seal and Shaker Collection die set from Miss Ink Stamps.

I love that there are SO many things you can do with this set! Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I hope you’ll watch the video for some tips on making a successful shaker panel. I love making my own shaker panels because using the acetate I share in my list, I feel like I can make my panel flatter and easy to attach to my card base, easy to mail, and easy to shake! Today I am using this full shaker panel with the Owls stamps set.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you love a good full-shaker panel as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by!

Alice Shaker Card

Hello! Today I have an Alice Shaker Card and video to share! Today I used the Nested Keyhole die set and Key to My Heart die set from Miss Ink Stamps.

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

You might know that I love to make Alice cards, and when I get a chance to make an Alice card AND a shaker card together…well that’s just awesome!

I also brought in two favorite stencils (and I have many favorite Miss Ink Stencils that work so well with Alice cards!): Vintage Keyholes, and Rabbit Hole stencil. Can you see that subtle design in the very back of the shaker panel?

I used different shades of blue glitter paper along with some silver metallic cardstock to cut out the heart keys and heart lockets. Such a cute die set!

Free Floating Shaker Card with Greetings from Mars

Hello! Today I am creating a Free Floating Shaker Card with Greetings From Mars! Watch the video below or on YouTube:

This is a fun stamp set, and I just love those little creatures. You should see how funny they look when they are “floating” around with this shaker card!

I created a foiled star background to give a nod to the “Mars” reference (like a galaxy). Don’t worry– there’s no heat involved in this foiling effort!

I hope you’ll check out the video to see the full process and how to put this card together.

Safari Shaker

Hello! Today I have a new Safari Shaker card and video to share. I’m sharing a very easy way to create a shaker card.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I just think these Safari animals are so cute! This is a great shaker technique…and I started out with the Go Wild A2 Frame Die, added some acetate and double-thick foam to create this shaker front.

The Sparkle Mixes from Heffy Doodle are absolutely my favorite because they not only have sequins, but they also have gems! I saved some of the gems to add to the front of the panel. Watch the video to see how easy this shaker is to create!

Creating the sentiment with Kraft cardstock shadow and green letters really reminds me of a safari! That is what helped me to choose these colors.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this shaker safari card today! I’ll be back with more cards to share soon.

Mini Valentine Shaker Notes

Hello! It’s an exciting day for me to share some Mini Valentine Shaker Notes…these are little note card sized shakers that are oh-so-sweet. I hope you enjoy!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

These note cards measure 3.5″ x 4.25″ so they are a nice little size to fit into a lunch bag or a briefcase! (Wink*) I love how easy they are to build up with the polaroid die from Whimsy Stamps. I will show you in the video how to make the “walls” to keep the shaker bits inside the shaker, and how to add the acetate topper.

I used a variety of stamps and dies to decorate the fronts of each card, all images that I LOVE!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

This Polaroid Die fits a slimline card, and for the mini cards I cut it apart to build up the shakers. It is also a cute design to make a slimline card, so I have included a sample of that here:

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day (aka Hugs Day!) filled with love. See you soon with more cards!
