Christmas is the Perfect Reason

Hello! Christmas is the perfect reason to send cards! Yes! And today I have a fun project with a sentiment that says just that.

This sentiment is fun to remind those people in your life that they are HANDMADE CARD worthy!! Lol. I know you know what I’m talking about…if you make handmade cards that is. Only the best people get a handmade card!

For this card I did some ink blending with my new favorite domed ink blending tools. Then I splattered on some white Gansai Tambi paint. Those cute little Christmas lights were colored using Copic markers. I added silver embossing powder to the part that screws into the strand, and some glitter glue to all the lightbulbs for a bit of sparkle. You know I love my sparkle!

I popped up each individual light onto the strand using foam tape.

This is a simple enough card to make, but I don’t think it would be good for mass production with all those little lights. Maybe if you left them flat and didn’t pop them up it would be much faster.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

You Know You’re Getting Old…When Santa Looks Attractive

Hello! Today I could not stop giggling while making this card. This sentiment is so, so funny…and I couldn’t wait to show you a couple of card options for it.

First, I have colored up Santa with Copics and added the sentiment below him. Then I die cut the panel with the Cross-Stitched Stackables and adhered it to fun foam. I added the entire panel to some Echo Park holly paper (that I love!)

The best sentiment!

Isn’t he cute? Would you even go as far to say that Santa is looking attractive?! Lol.

I’ve got a quick video tutorial, watch it below or on YouTube:

If you are a Copic Colorer, I have the Copic Color Chart for you here. Roll your cursor over the image below to PIN IT for later.

If you are NOT a Copic Colorer, I have one more card idea to share below! Keep on scrolling.

Now, if you want to use this sentiment on a quick card (with no Copic Coloring) I’ve got you covered! Try using a stencil to make some green lines, then use these Bella-Pops to make a fast and cute card.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. I hope this post made you smile. Thanks for stopping by. I’m really looking forward to the holidays this year and sending out a few of these cards to my *older* friends. Lol.

Witches Brew Cards

Hello! What IS in a witch’s brew anyway? Lol. Today I have a couple Halloween cards using a favorite sentiment of mine: “Best Witches.”

Best Witches!

This is a fun card to make! I have a video showing you how, watch it below or on YouTube:

The second card uses much of the same products, with a little more of a twist.

For this one, I inked the background with the domed blending tools and some distress oxides in greens & blues. Then I added some water to create that oxide look. I cut some clouds to represent the witches brew, then popped up the witch legs behind the brew. I added some clear droplets, bats and stickles.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you liked these fun Halloween cards. This is about as spooky as it gets around here, folks! Lol. Thanks for stopping by.

Quick Halloween Cards

Hello! Sometimes I need a quick card, so today I’m showing you some easy Halloween cards with only minimal supplies! I’m using the same Fall Sampler stamp set to make two very different Halloween Cards.

Here’s the first one:

Eat Drink and Be Scary

I love this stamp set, there are so many sentiments perfect for Fall, Thanksgiving, Halloween, AND Winter. I love a stamp set with lots of uses…it is great on the budget, too! 🙂

Best Witches!

Here’s a video to show you the process and how quick it is, watch it below or on YouTube:

These cards are so fun, and there’s no coloring involved (which is sometimes a plus when you are in a hurry)!

Paper Tile Encouragement Cards

Hello! Today I have some very encouraging cards…that look like kitchen tile. These are simple to put together, but pack a punch with bold sentiments and a tiled look. These would be perfect masculine cards too!

Today I made these hexagon designs with black, white and grey cardstock. but they would be beautiful in multi-colors.

I have a video to show you some tips on lining up the tiles and making them easy. Watch it below or on YouTube:

I made these cards for my husband, who is currently renovating a house and experiencing LOTS of set-backs. Ugh. So I thought a little encouragement would be in order. The tile is similar to a bath tile he picked out!

Good Things ahead!

I love the look of these tiles, with the alternating colors. For this one, I added an orange sentiment and some Nuvo drops to look like rivets.

After I put these two cards together, I had some leftover hexagons, so I made one extra card, using a small box stencil for the backdrop.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed all these tiled cards! Thanks for stopping by.
