Make Your Own Gradient Colored Cardstock

Hello! Today I am excited to share one of my favorite projects so far this year… I love these sentiments, flower die, and stencil; and when you put them all together they SING!

I love a good sentiment set, and this one from Scrapbook.com is so so good. I have used all the sentiments so far and love the encouragement. I have created a video sharing the process, watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

This was the first card I made using the Mum stencil from Scrapbook.com and some of their beautiful inks! I love combining green and blue together and these colors really look great.

I didn’t have gradient cardstock in the colors I wanted, so this inky secret made my flower work!! Watch the video to see how to do this.

The sentiments in Feel Better Sentiments 2 are really great… all of them! It’s so refreshing to find a stamp set with sentiments that I love and will be happy to USE THEM ALL!

I loved this combination so much, that I made a second card using a different set of sentiments. I changed the orientation for this one to make the sentiment fit just right.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these cards today! Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Day

Hello! It’s a Monday, and I had to make this card to remind me that there is something beautiful in every day.

I adore this stencil! It’s a new favorite! I first dry embossed the background so it was raised, and then I inked on the mums, with the darkest color in the middle.

I added a strip of the new, beautiful Concord & 9th cardstock and added the die cut sentiment. There, that really brightens up my day!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope your Monday was beautiful.

Easy Ombre Valentines

Hello! Can you believe Valentines Day is less than a week away? Today I have some Valentines cards to share with some of my favorite techniques.

I have a video of the easiest Ombre tricks to share, watch it below or on YouTube:

Which card is your favorite?

For the Ombre card I used the pink hybrid inks in four colors. These are already in Ombre order to make things extra easy. I love that! Each ink gets progressively darker, and when you use a large stamp (like the XOXO stamp) with a MISTI stamping tool, you can produce the easiest Ombre Valentine card ever!!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Hope you enjoyed these Valentines! See you real soon with more card inspiration.
