Coloring an Appaloosa

Hello, today I’m excited to share a video and how I Copic colored an Appaloosa. I was so happy to see this new stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps, and I chose 3 of my favorite images to create this card today.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I loved creating this ink blended sunset background for this card. I show you just how I did it using Masking Magic paper in my video.

I used the new EIEIO placement guide stencil for lining up those alpha dies, and boy is it cool!! You have to check out their new placement guides!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this vibrant project today! See you soon with more cards!

What if you Found an Ogre in the Bathroom?

Hello! Today I have a bit of a different card share…What if you Found an Ogre in the Bathroom? That’s exactly the scene I created here using some new stamps from Miss Ink Stamps.

This is a fun card to create, using some fun techniques. Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I share a story in this video that you MIGHT NOT believe! LOL. I almost couldn’t believe it myself. I hope you’ll go watch and see what I’m talking about.

For the wallpaper, I used the flowery layering stencil (all supplies listed below for you) and I do think it’s the PERFECT bathroom wallpaper! I wanted a sort of beadboard look for the lower part of the wall, so I just created my own.

The tile floor is made with another one of my favorite stencils: the Wonky Checker stencil. I love that this brown tile perfectly brings out the brown trousers of the ogre!

I have to say, this card makes me laugh. It’s so silly! I used the images all from the Misery Loves Company stamp set, and added one sentiment from the Rainbows & Sunshine stamp set.

Spring Cards with a Stencil Technique

Hello! Today I have some Spring Cards to share with a fun stencil technique.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

This technique works best when you have a stencil with a lot of larger areas, and a second stencil with a smaller design. For both cards I used the SAME stamp set…Punny Farm Goats from Miss Ink Stamps.

I love the chicken and chicks in this stamp set, AND it also has the cutest goats to choose from! I hope you will watch the video to see how to do this technique.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. Sending a Little Luck

Hello! Today I’m sending you a little luck with this green rainbow card! I love making St. Patricks Day cards with green and a touch of gold. Today I’m using the Rainbow Builder Stencil from Miss Ink Stamps.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love the look of green with gold! Here I used some Mirror Cardstock to cut out the word “Luck.”

I used the Rainbow Builder stencil for this, and instead of adding the included heart, I changed it for a clover from the Pick A Card stencil!

For the second card, I used some Lunar Paste for the touch of gold.
