Queen’s Castle Interior

Hello! I’m sharing the Queen of Hearts Castle Interior imagination with you today with my newest card and video. Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

For this castle makeover, I thought a vibrant red rose floral wallpaper would be appropriate, and some pink pillars are just what the Queen ordered! Add some heart shield banners and a heart design on the carpet and you have the perfect interior design for this Queen! I hope you’ll stop to watch the video to see how this all came together…along with some tips along the way.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Did you like the way the Queen decorated her castle?! Let me know! Thanks for stopping by today.

May your days be filled with sunshine,

Kari

Ghosts Creating Potions

Hello! Today I have a new card and video with Ghosts creating potions!

Watch the video here:

I love this Castle Arches die set…it is good for so many occasions and today it’s a dungeon with ghosts!

I created this background with Metallic cardstock and black paint in THIS VIDEO. I love how it looks.

I think ghosts creating potions in a dungeon is so funny! (Halloween sense of humor). Miss Ink Stamps has some great sets for creating this scene!

Can you find the black cat?! It’s from the Under the Stairs die set! I thought this scene needed a little cat to finish off the look. *Wink*

I hope you enjoyed this project today! Are you making Halloween cards yet? See you next time.

Stained Glass Cards

Hello! Today I have some Stained Glass Cards and a video to share! I have two different ways to create a stained glass look…and I love them both.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

The first card I made has a light up feature and a vellum “stained glass” window. I love the silver leading on this one, which matches the silver frame of this card.

I used the remainder of the silver cardstock to create the following card:

What?! You don’t see the silver? That’s because I treated it with some Distress Paint in Black Soot. I love how the effect turned out. See it even better in the video!

I hope you enjoyed the Stained Glass video and cards today. I’ll be back with more cards to share soon!
