Hello! Today I have a fun project and video to share. I am re-visiting a stamp set that I absolutely adore (Alice) and pairing it with a NEW layering stencil set called Hug in A Mug. I think together they create a great, fun, colorful card and I can’t wait to show you.
I have to say, these Alice sets are among my favorites in my crafty studio! I just love when I have new product to use with them. 🙂
I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
Don’t forget to watch the video to find out the trick for making those images pop out from this busy background! I hope you enjoyed this project today. I’ll be back soon with more cards to share.
Hello! Today I have FOUR cards to share with you using Toner sheets to create four easy foiled backgrounds.
I recently fell in love with these toner sheets, and I have a video sharing just how to create them so EASILY with this one trick. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:
I started with some kraft Toner Sheets called Chic Chevrons and foiled it with the beautiful Lapis Watercolor foil (all supplies listed below). This created a great background, but I still had quite a bit of beautiful foil that hadn’t been used. So I took that LEFTOVER foil and put in on a toner sheet and ran it thru the Minc machine. BAM! Another beautiful foiled background to create a card!
That sentiment cracks me up…it’s a Simple Sentiment from Maker Forte! So many great ones in this kit that you can cut out and use on cards (or foil them up, too!) They are printed on toner sheets so they are also easily foiled!
I really couldn’t stop there! I tried some NEW TO ME Clear Toner Sheets next with flowers on them. These foil up so great! I tried the Summer Rainbow foil on them this time.
And of course I used the LEFTOVER foil from this one to create a second card!
Watch the video to see how I created all the detail on the Queen of Hearts dress, too! She wanted the roses red…and we got some of them right! But still she exclaims “Off With their Heads!” (You gotta love the Queen of Hearts).

I hope you loved these easy foiled backgrounds today! These were fun to create. There are prizes to be won over at the Miss Ink Stamps blog and Thermoweb blog all this week. So head on over and leave a comment for your chance to win!
Hello! Today I have a card with Alice! You know I love this series of stamps from Miss Ink Stamps, and today I have a NEW stamp set called “Wonderland Wisdom” that I’m creating a card with.
I love this saying and it makes me think: I should be thinking impossible things! (or at least dreaming!)
Can you see that extra shine I added with the small stars and glitter?! This is a fun card to create and I absolutely love that stencil in the background.

Hope you enjoyed! Don’t forget to think impossible things!
Hello! Today I’m sharing a fun project with a new stencil paired with the Mad Hatter from Miss Ink Stamps. Have you ever tried stamping over a stenciled pattern? This is fun and offers some interesting looks to your stamp.
I have a video showing you how this is done successfully, watch it below or in HD on YouTube:
This was a fun project to finally complete. This idea has been in my head for weeks! I love how the stencil design shines through on the tea pot and his clothes and face. This may not be the ideal technique for some stamps…but We’re All Mad Here and this crazy look works!

I finished off this card with black pearls, which I thought was kind of fitting. Here’s the conversation I had in my head about this: Johnny Depp played the Mad Hatter in Alice and Wonderland, and he also played Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean. The pirate ship was called the Black Pearl…so these definitely belong on this card! Lol. I had lots of fun with this card. Hope you enjoyed!
Hello! I’m back with a Wonderland card where the Queen of Hearts has given her first RULE! (Lol) Apparently this rule applies to us and also to those in Wonderland.
I chose some really bright colors for this palette! But I do love a bright colored card sometimes. Check out the video below or in HD on YouTube:
I love how she’s pointing at Alice to make this statement! I colored up those mushrooms from the Pumpkin Spice Gnomes set and mirror imaged one of the large mushrooms. I wanted them to sort of “frame” the sentiment.
And see that keyhole in the background?! That’s from the “Knock Knock” stencil. This set is so cool because they include the negative pieces with the stencils so you can do a lot of neat techniques!
I added quite of bit of extra bling and detail to this card with a glitter pen, Nuvo drops, and embellishments. I don’t think you can ever have too much “extra.” Lol…at least on a card!
