Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Shamrock Stencil

Hello! Today I have a fun Shamrock Stencil to share, along with a bunch of cards using it. I’m creating with foil, glitter, and ink blending (oh my)! Not to mention, I share the fastest, easiest watercolor technique.

It’s all in the video below, or watch it in HD on YouTube:

I loved creating with this stencil. Lately, I’ve just been making so many cards with the same supplies. If you’ve been watching my videos, you might have noticed that trend: lots of cards in every video! But I love creating cards, and trying to make many ideas with one set of tools.

I think this glittered background is my favorite of the bunch…I love glittery, shiny cards. 🙂

But this one is a close second! I love the look of Kaleidoscope Powder on a dark background. Look how shiny and shimmery they are! This one uses two colors: Neptune and Limewired. I show you how to use it in my video.

Of course, I love an ink blended background and this Perfect Blend paper makes it SO easy!

A little foiled sentiment is always welcome, too! Or even a foiled background, like in the next two cards:

How cute is that little mouse? All these images are watercolored with Zigs, and I share how easy it is in my video, too.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these bright, rainbow, glittery, and inked cards today! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Quick Watercolor Poinsettia Cards

Hello! Do you ever need a quick and easy Holiday card? Today I have two EASY watercolor cards using Kaleidoscope powder! I’m using the Poinsettia stamp set from Maker Forte. This set is beautiful on it’s own, but add a little watercoloring and you get some gorgeous cards!

I created a similar card design and stamped the poinsettias in the same spot both on the Tiptree Jam (pink) cardstock, and on watercolor paper. Then I heat embossed using some of my favorite Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

For the pink card, I “painted” on some Kaleidoscope powder in three shades: Aurora, Hubble, and Shooting Star. These are glittery and sparkly and they shine so pretty in the light. Here’s a picture you may be able to see the sparkle a little better:

For the watercolor cardstock, I used the Kaleidoscope powder on the first layer (underpainting) and then added some bright watercolors on top of that.

To see the how-to, watch the short video below or in HD on YouTube:

These cards were so fun to make and so QUICK! I think they took me under 20 minutes for BOTH cards. That’s a bonus in my book, especially for Holiday cards!

I hope you enjoyed these cards today! I’ll be back soon with more card making inspiration!

The new October Hedgehog Hollow Kit

Hello! Today I have a video sharing the NEW Hedgehog Hollow October Kit and a card using products from the kit (and a few extras!)

This kit comes with some fun products and today is a quick card…which, honestly, we all need at times!

I’m using the Nebula Kaleidoscope powder in this video, and I share a SECRET about the best paper to use with the powder, so don’t miss it! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I am loving this sentiment that comes in the stamp set from the Kit this month. There are so many great holiday sentiments included! I heat embossed in gold onto vellum to add over the stenciled Nebula powder.

To complete the look, I sprinkled on some confetti stars in English Mustard color. Yes, they are all attached individually with liquid adhesive! This task is made SO MUCH EASIER with the new Rainbow Craft Pick and Gem Picker.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Thanks for stopping by today!
