Coloring an Appaloosa

Hello, today I’m excited to share a video and how I Copic colored an Appaloosa. I was so happy to see this new stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps, and I chose 3 of my favorite images to create this card today.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I loved creating this ink blended sunset background for this card. I show you just how I did it using Masking Magic paper in my video.

I used the new EIEIO placement guide stencil for lining up those alpha dies, and boy is it cool!! You have to check out their new placement guides!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this vibrant project today! See you soon with more cards!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Shamrock Stencil

Hello! Today I have a fun Shamrock Stencil to share, along with a bunch of cards using it. I’m creating with foil, glitter, and ink blending (oh my)! Not to mention, I share the fastest, easiest watercolor technique.

It’s all in the video below, or watch it in HD on YouTube:

I loved creating with this stencil. Lately, I’ve just been making so many cards with the same supplies. If you’ve been watching my videos, you might have noticed that trend: lots of cards in every video! But I love creating cards, and trying to make many ideas with one set of tools.

I think this glittered background is my favorite of the bunch…I love glittery, shiny cards. 🙂

But this one is a close second! I love the look of Kaleidoscope Powder on a dark background. Look how shiny and shimmery they are! This one uses two colors: Neptune and Limewired. I show you how to use it in my video.

Of course, I love an ink blended background and this Perfect Blend paper makes it SO easy!

A little foiled sentiment is always welcome, too! Or even a foiled background, like in the next two cards:

How cute is that little mouse? All these images are watercolored with Zigs, and I share how easy it is in my video, too.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these bright, rainbow, glittery, and inked cards today! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Spectacular Stamp & Stencil Bundles

Hello! Today I’ve got some spectacular stamp & stencil bundles to share…I am making two cards with these fantastic products from Maker Forte. This is the first time I’ve seen stencils that match a stamp; and it gives you so many options for creativity!

Today I have two cards, with a video on the new release and card process! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

Card 1:

For this first card I used the “Deer to Me” stamp and stencil bundle. This set has sold out multiple times, but I see that it’s now back in stock! I stamped the stamp with dark black ink and then added the matching stencil over the top. I ink blended with three colors of Distress ink. THEN, I used another geometric stencil over the top and ink blended again.

What a spectacular result! Does it remind you of Northern Lights? Image trying this with different colors of ink, too! I popped up a sentiment with foam tape to finish off this slimline card.

Card 2:

For the second card, I used the Safari stamp and stencil bundle. This set comes with two stencils, and I added both of them to ink up the sun. Then I removed the second stencil and ink blended the background with Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade.

See the light shadow behind the trees? That’s from offsetting the stencil a little bit! It’s a neat look with very little effort.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today. Thanks for stopping by!

Queen’s Castle becomes the Haunted Mansion!

Hello! Today I have a fun Halloween card using the Queen’s Castle from Miss Ink Stamps. This is a beautiful castle, but when you color it up just a little differently, it becomes a Haunted Mansion!

I paired it with the Boo Crew stamp set Trick-or-Treaters. How cute are they!? I love that the rabbit, mouse, and raccoon are all dressed as ghosts!

I’ve been waiting for the perfect card to blend these ink colors together for a background. This is the perfect card for these colors!

I have a video showing you how to re-create this card, watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I added that moon behind the castle using a simple circle die. Easy masking makes it all possible! (for all the details, see the above video!)

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back soon with more card ideas.
