Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop!  We are so excited to share amazing cards from our Design Team members using the new release!  For today’s special Blog Hop, you can win a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store!

Today I have a card share using some more of my favorite products from the brand new release! Here’s my card:

Just how adorable is that elephant?!? The brand new Heffy Doodle products I’m using for this card are:

I absolutely adore that elephant sitting on the circus stage! The wonderful part about the Birthday Number dies is: they include the “TH” or “ND” or “RD” to complete your birthday. Like the 4th in this card. Of course you can use it for other dates, too, not just birthdays!

The Carnival Star Backdrop die has my heart! It’s such a beautiful stitched background with stars that you can remove and piece back in (like I did here after I colored the stars yellow with a marker), OR leave them out with a sparkly interesting background behind it.

Here’s a closer look at that circus stage from the “At the Circus Die Set.” I love that it’s a layering die so you can add any colors, designer paper and such to get the look you want.

The presents are from the Wrapped with Love stamp set! Perfect for adding to my birthday card. I’ve gathered all the supplies I used in a photo list for you here, for easy viewing at the Heffy Doodle Shop:

Alien Ship with Lights!

Hello! Today I have a fun light-up card…it’s an alien ship that lights up. I am a part of an Instagram hop for this project (with prizes!), so you may want to head over to Instagram and take a look!

But before that, watch the video on how to add these Chibitronics Lights to your cards! Watch it below or on YouTube:

This card is so fun…press the button and the space ship lights up in three different colors!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

To see all the details, check out the video. Don’t forget to comment on the Instagram hop to enter to win prizes! See you soon with more cards to share.

Holiday Shaker Tags

Hello! Today I have 3 holiday shaker tags to share along with a video on how to put them together! When you have beautiful products like this Tag Along die from Heffy Doodle, it’s easy to build a shaker tag.

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

These tags were all made with some new favorites of mine from Heffy Doodle!

Tag 1: Happy Christmas Elf

For the first tag, I stenciled the Happy stencil on the background with red ink. Then I cut out the Tag Along die using the Tinsel Town paper from Heffy Doodle. (This was a part of their Mega Day sale, and I hope they have in their shop available soon!)

The images, including that happy elf are from Santa’s Village stamp set! I love it with the Christmas die as well. Watch the video to see how to assemble these tags with the shaker Sparkle Mix elements inside!

Tag 2: Santa’s workshop

For this one I changed up the color of the paper, but the images are all from Santa’s Village again. I added a candy cane to Santa’s hand…isn’t that perfect?

Tag 3: Winter Wonderland

The color scheme changed to blue & white for this tag. I love the happy penguin and snowman from the Wanna Build a Snowman stamp set!

The background is the Notre Dame stencil inked up with a light blue ink. Then I stamped on the winter wonderland in blue ink.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today. I love a fun holiday tag! I’ll be back with more card inspiration!

Hot Cocoa Gift Cards

Hello! Today I’m sharing Hot Cocoa Gift Card Holders using some new favorite products from Heffy Doodle!

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

I have 3 different card ideas for this set (and that’s not all there is to do with this set), but I do hope this inspires you!

1. Front Flap Card

This first card is so fun…it has a front flap for your gift card AND you can open the card to write a sentiment too!

2. Fall Shaker Card

This is an easy way to make a shaker! I absolutely adore the Sparkle Mixes from Heffy Doodle: not only do they have sequins, but they also have GEMS!

3. Holiday Shaped Card

This hot cocoa cup makes the cutest shaped card! It’s so easy when you follow my trick I share in the video. And YES, that is corrugated cardboard I die cut for the holder!

There’s still plenty of room to add a gift card inside!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I’ll be back soon with more cards to share!
