Rainbow Roses with Crafty Meraki

Hello! Today I have a new video up on the Crafty Meraki channel making Rainbow Roses! I love this Artisan Rose die and I couldn’t resist turning them into the most colorful roses.

These are absolutely beautiful and when you use my proven method I share in my video, they are easy and pretty quick to put together, too!

I used a simple hot foiled background and sentiment (with an extra black shadow) to help those rainbow roses really pop off the page! I love how it turned out.

I hope you enjoyed this project today! Let me know if you give this a try!

Citrus Cupcake card

Hello! Today I’m excited to share a Citrus Cupcake card with you, creating my own colors of background patterned paper.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I started off with some foilable paper from Crafty Meraki, but instead of foiling it, I ink blended some Distress Oxide inks! I used colors that reminded me of grapefruit, oranges, and lemons.

Next, I colored up one of my favorite cupcake stamps with the same colors. Love these colors for Spring and Summer!

I also foiled that Hi hot foil plate sentiment with copper colored foil! I know it’s difficult to tell the foiling and color in these photos…it’s so difficult to capture foil in a picture!

I put it all together with a sentiment from the cupcake stamp set. I just love how it all came together!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this citrus inspired project today! I’ll be back with another card to share soon!

My favorite Peace & Love Rose

Hello! Today I have my favorite Peace & Love rose to share…that I’ve recreated on a card! I also have a video sharing the entire process. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I think the Love & Peace Rose is my absolute favorite, with it’s gorgeous yellow and pink blooms. I also share a Cherry Parfait rose in the video, which is a white rose with a red/dark pink edge.

In order to fit as many of the blooms on the card as I could, I elected to make a slimline card. I used some Oxide Sprays in the background, with some darker inking along the edges to really make these roses POP!

For the sentiment, I hot foiled and die cut out that HI, which is probably my very favorite hot foiled sentiment I own (this is a brand new product as well!) I offset a pink cardstock behind it to build it up a little.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this rose project as much as I did! I’ll be back soon with more cards to share.
