Hello! I have a quick post today for The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I always love to participate in these, even though I don’t drink coffee. But I do LOVE a good hot chocolate and so that is my focus for this card.
I love a good plaid background so I stamped with Distress Oxides onto red paper. Then I added coffee cups…I paper pieced those cup holder centers with my favorite red Christmas paper.
I added a garland of holly onto red baker’s twine. Then I stamped the sentiment with versafine onyx black ink.
The quickest card, and oh-so-fun to make! I hope you enjoyed!
If you are joining in, today is the last day…so hurry on over to enter.
Hello again! Today I have a quick card share for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. And I made cookies! Paper cookies with sprinkles, that is.
Here’s a funny fact: I don’t drink coffee. But I LOVE making coffee cards for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I know, weird right?
I didn’t have any donut stamps or dies to go with my coffee cup, so I made cookies. I simply used a circle die cut, inked them up with Vintage Photo ink, and added some chunky glitter. Easiest cookies I’ll ever make. AND I won’t eat these ones. Lol.
These cookies remind me of those Danish shortbread cookies with the big sugar crystals on top. Do you know the ones? I love them.
For the background I inked on some Peeled Paint ink with a makeup brush. Then I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops.
That coffee cup is really a gift card holder, but you can use it on a card front, too! I just cut off the front panel and the lid, added some patterned paper to the cup, and colored the lid black. Then I glued them all together.
I have an entire roll of this corregated cardboard. I have no idea where I got it from. But I think it makes an excellent coffee cup holder piece (what in the world are those cup holders called?)
A fun card that made me smile today. I hope it made you smile, too.

Hello! Today I have a sweet card to share featuring a new favorite stamp set from Right At Home Stamps called Cuppa Friendship! These girls are just too cute and so much fun to color.
Just look at these sweeties. I colored them up with Copics and added some fun patterned paper surrounding them.
I finally also picked up these beautiful hand lettered sentiment stamps from Right At Home stamps that have been on my wish list for a really long time. I stamped the “blessed” on 110# paper and fussy cut it out. The remaining part of the sentiment “to have you as a friend” is white heat embossed on black paper.
Linking up to the last day of the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. (even though I’m imagining them to be holding Hot Cocoa!)
Hello there! Today I have a quick card to share featuring my new favorite: Poinsettias on Coffee cups (or hot chocolate cups, in my case!)
A week or so ago I shared a quick video, where I masked off the coffee cups so only the middle showed, lightly stamped on some poinsettias using the Poinsettia Box stamp set, and no-lined colored up the poinsettias using Copics.
Well, I finally put them on a card!
I used some corrugated cardboard in the background as a nod to the coffee holders, added some greenery, and popped up those coffee cups using foam tape. (Most of the supplies used are from Our Daily Bread Designs.)
I white heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and cut it out using a fishtail end.
