Little Deer

Hello, today I am up at the Maker Forte blog HERE with some sweet little reindeer cards!

If you want more details, be sure to visit their blog. But I will share the video and some photos here!

How cute are these? There’s absolutely NO fussy cutting or masking involved! I think that’s an absolute plus when you’re working with small images like these.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these tricks (like turning the word YOU into the word JOY!) Thanks for stopping by today!

Nativity Card

Hello! Today I have a sweet Nativity Scene to share using products from the Hedgehog Hollow November Kit. I love these images (they remind me of Precious Moments) and couldn’t wait to make a card with them!

I’m using masking techniques and Copic coloring in today’s card and I have a video below on how this card came together:

I love a nice, inked background and I only used TWO ink colors for this one…easy! The blending brushes make this such an easy background, too.

I colored up all the images with Copic Markers and attached them all with liquid adhesive except the Baby Jesus. I used foam tape to give him the appearance of being closer to us.

Isn’t it sweet? Thanks for stopping by today.

Sweet Christmas Girl

Hello! Today I have a card using dies only! Sometimes it’s fun to switch it up and use only dies on a card.

Isn’t she sweet?! I made her a candy-striped dress and red glittery shoes, with a holly headband! This is exactly an outfit that I dream to own…but I think I just might look a little ridiculous. Maybe one day I will be able to pull it off! Lol.

This sweet girl was colored up with inks and finger daubers! It’s so quick and easy to color up a die this way.

I have a video to show you how this all came together, watch it below or on YouTube:

That light green glitter frame is from a Spring glitter paper set, but I LOVED the lighter green for this card.

I added lots of fun finishing touches to her outfit: green stickles, white nuvo drops and leafy veins to the headband. Would you wear a candy-striped dress? How about red glitter shoes? Or a holly headband?!

I’ll be back soon with more holiday card fun!

Family Portrait Christmas Card

Hello! Today I created my family portrait Christmas card using stamps from the November 2019 Hedgehog Hollow Kit. These stamps include a bunch of line art drawings of people, so it is really fun to create a family with them! There is even enough characters that I’ll bet you could have an entire family reunion!

I started out by building up my family on the Misti stamping tool. I found that I could fit them all close enough together that I was able to stamp them ALL at once! A big time saver!

After I stamped them using amalgam ink (my favorite for Copic coloring), I began inking around them using makeup brushes for a soft look. I started building up the color slowly with a soft touch, then kept adding to it until I got the look I wanted.

Then I colored us all up with Copics!

I have a quick video to show you how quickly this card came together, watch it below or on YouTube:

Isn’t this such a fun set to build a family portrait Christmas card?! I had so much fun.

But my sister, who is a professional photographer, tells me it’s no longer cool to be all matchy-matchy in family photos. That it should be more natural looking. Lol.

So will you create a cooler family than mine? I’d love to see your creations!

I hope you enjoyed a look at my Christmas cards of the family photo this year! Lol. I’ll be back with more inspiration soon.
