Designer Bird Awnings with the Hedgehog Hollow

Hello! Today I am up on the Hedgehog Hollow blog sharing my colorful birdhouse cards with “Designer Awnings.”

Designer PAPER awnings, that is! Lol. I love these birdhouses so much and I really just wanted a variety of colors.

Check out the post on The Hedgehog Hollow here to see all the details and more pictures!

Yellow polka dot awnings have my heart!

I hope you are just inspired to create some colorful birdhouses with designer awnings yourself! And if you do, please tag me at my Instagram or comment here on my blog…because I’d love to see what colorful creations you are making!

If you love these birds and birdhouses, check out the shop at the Hedgehog Hollow to get your April 2019 kit…but hurry because they sell out fast.

See you next time!

Snapshots from the beach

Hello! Today I’m so happy to share a card that I’ve had in my mind since I got the Hedgehog Hollow July 2018 box! This is such a cute stamp set, and I just knew I needed a card that I’ve since titled “Snapshots from the beach.”

I used the fun bright paper as the background of my “snapshots” and colored up those cute girls with Copic Markers. I used the Ric Rac dies, also included in this July box, as a background for the entire card. I also used the Ric Rac dies on yellow paper and placed a portion of them in the upper right corner of one of the “snapshots” to represent the sun; and some blue Ric Rac to represent the water.

Doesn’t this just remind you of a beach vacation? So bright and fun!

One of my favorite things about these boxes (beside all the amazing content) is that there is also a coupon included for a couple companies, so I can add to my collection if I choose! This month there was a coupon for Sunny Studios stamps (the maker of these cute stamps I used on this card) and you know I will be getting some more goodies! Lol.
