A Bear, a Hedgehog, and a Broom

Hello! Today I have a new card with a Bear, a Hedgehog and a Broom as a part of my Halloween Card Series. You KNOW I just HAD to make a bear witch! (I love bears)!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

Of course I had to use all the critters in this die set, so I made a Bear and a hedgehog card and then I made a bonus fox card!

I just adore these critters! Watch the video to see some easy ways to color up the die cut critters with inks (and a touch of Copic markers).

I love the silver spider web embossed in the background. Each of these characters can hold something in their hands (I love a die with such a great detail)…so I put the broom in the bear’s hands, and a mini pumpkin in the hedgehog’s hands.

I started out with colored cardstock for their witches hats and added detail with ink! It’s easy when you have a beveled brush.

Once I finished this card, I felt like that fox was left out….so I made a bonus card!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Thanks for stopping by today! I just love a critter card!

You’re Freaking Meowt

Hello! Today I have a card in my Halloween Card Series: You’re Freaking Meowt. This is a fun one and I use Crypt Paste (Grit Paste Crypt) on the background.

Watch the video here or in HD on YouTube:

See those stars in the background? That’s the crypt paste over black cardstock. I love the look (kinda like concrete) for a Halloween card.

This stamp set with all the cats is from “Feline Spooky” from Miss Ink Stamps and it has recently been restocked!

The alphabet is from the brand new Punny Farms Frame Die. It’s a great sans-serif font and works well for this card!

Antiquing Gilding Flakes

Hello! Today I have another card to share in my Halloween Card Series: Antiquing Gilding Flakes. I’m adding a cute (and spooky) ghost to a Thorny Frame Die so the ghost looks like it’s coming right out of that frame.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

When I saw that Thorny Frame Die I just knew I had to have it. I love it! I wanted to create this card with the ghost coming right out of that frame (how spooky is that)?!?

I’m using Gilding Flakes today and then creating a more antiqued look. This is a fun technique!

I created another card with this same technique using Gold Gilding Flakes and the new Scrooge stamp set from Whimsy:

You can see I only added the gilding flakes in small sections, and on the berries. See the video to see just how I created the gilding and then the antiqued look on those frames!

I hope you enjoyed this project today! See you soon with another card to share!

Sunflower Fields 2 cards with 1 stencil

Hello! Today I have a fun layering stencil to share…this is the Sunflower Fields layering stencil from The Ton. This is a very large stencil…it covers an 8 1/2″ x 6″ surface area, so it allows you to get TWO cards with just one stencil session!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

This stencil also has a coordinating die that cuts the top edge. This allows for some fun techniques! Here I added some ink blending and then a starburst stencil over the top. I love this blue “sky” over the sunflowers.

For this second one, I did a sunset look with a bubble stencil over the top. I love the added texture.

I used a sentiment set that allows for all the sentiments to be stamped at the same time and a die that cuts them out at the same time! This is a big time saver and so awesome. I popped the sentiments up with foam adhesive for a little dimension.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. I hope you enjoyed these happy sunflower cards today! Thanks for stopping by!

“Howl”oween Shaker Tag

Hello! Today I have a fun “Howl”oween Shaker Tag to share. This Halloween set is super cute with all kinds of pups you can use. Today I’m creating a shaker with the new Tall Snowglobe die set from Heffy Doodle.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

How cute is that puppy witch?!? I love these images in this stamp set and I loved putting this little scene together. It’s so easy with the right tools!

I added some striped ribbon to the top and some orange ribbon around that to finish it off.

Looks like he’s brewing up some yummy treats!
