Ink Blended Blossoms

Hello! It’s Kari here and I’m back after a little card-making break. I find that card making is such a great way to help in healing sadness, and today this card made me VERY HAPPY! Especially since I ink blended those blossoms instead of coloring them. It’s a very easy shortcut and so, so beautiful!

This card is my most favorite card I’ve made all year! Lol…well, it’s my only card I’ve made all year. That sounds so strange to say. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I love this look and love how fast this card came together. For the background, I first taped around the edge and ink blended Speckled Egg Distress Ink in the center. Then I added the stencil and ink blended some more. This adds a subtle look, with added interest for your background.

I stamped the images with my new favorite black ink (see below for link) and then blended Picked Raspberry Distress ink over the top. THIS INK DIDN’T SMEAR!! Yeah!

Then I colored up the leaves with BG11 & BG15 Copics. So fast. To add extra sparkles, I put liquid adhesive in the center of each flower and sprinkled on some iridescent and sand glitter.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
