Red Brick Spooky House

Hello! I’m happy to be back and sharing another Halloween card! This time I have a Red Brick Spooky House to share, along with a no-coloring technique I hope you will love!

It’s all detailed in the video below, or watch it in HD on YouTube:

I love this new set from Miss Ink Stamps! It’s a great Halloween House and it also has the cutest critters in the set (I didn’t use them in my project today).

I LOVE this brick embossing folder. It looks so realistic, and it’s great in either red or grey! (I can’t wait to try other colors, too!)

I added some grout details with Distress Paints, and I really think that adds a lot. The technique for this is very simple, paint it on and wipe off the excess with your finger! I show you how in the video.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Those sentiments are just perfect, aren’t they!?

I hope you enjoyed these cards today! I have a few Halloween projects left to share before the big day. I can never get enough in before the day sneaks up on me. Lol. See you soon!

Stamping on Fabric

Hello! Today I’m sharing a favorite project of mine…stamping on Fabric! This is a set from Maker Forte, and I’m up on their blog with all the details…so check it out HERE.

But I will share photos and the video here on my blog so you can see just how fun this stamp set is. I’m making a no-sew project and THREE cards. Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I was so pleasantly surprised to find that my FAVORITE BLACK ink, (the one that works with Copic Coloring, Watercoloring, and stamping images & crisp sentiments) also works for STAMPING ON FABRIC!! Yay!

I show you in my video just how to do this for the best result.

I love the extra threads on the edge of this muslin..you can even pull more out if you wanted!

You can also easily make cards with this set, and of course I did that, too!

I hope you loved these projects today! I had so much fun creating these and can’t wait to make more of these holiday bags. 🙂

Heffy Friends Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Friends Inspiration Blog Hop!  For today’s special Blog Hop, you can win a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store! (See details at the end of this post to see how you can win!)

Today I have THREE cards to share with you using some of my favorite new products from Heffy Doodle.

CARD ONE: You are LLamazing!

This card was a blast to make with the new ARIZONA stencil! I love that stencil so much…you can change it around to get the look you want to make cactus and 2 styles of mountains! I also colored up those llamas using my favorite “curly hair” technique.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube to find out how easy it is!

I love those happy llamas!

CARD 2: Alpaca my bags

For this card, I used the llamas again with more of a “traveling” theme. Those little suitcases are the cutest! I used the Fiesta stencil to ink up three colors of cardstock, then cut them at an angle and used one of each color to create the background. (this technique is also shown in my video!)

The sentiment is perfect for this card, don’t you think? For these “alpacas” I colored them up using more of a dot technique, rather than the curly hair technique.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

CARD 3: Mole Lotta Love

This last card features an easy interactive mechanism made with the mini double slider die from Heffy Doodle. I couldn’t resist these little moles (which are currently a gift with purchase)

Card closed…what is lurking behind that grassy hill?
Card opened to reveal the mole with a rose!

I was inspired by some Halloween colors for this one (and my fingernails…LOL!)…and made it with dark purples, greens and blacks. To see how easy that interactive die is to put together on your card, watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I can just imagine all the possibilities for this die!

New Hedgehog Hollow Kit Unboxing

Hello! Today I have the new Hedgehog Hollow October Kit to share with you. This Kit is filled with stamps, stencils, papers, and a white rubber background stamp! The theme is Medical Heroes and it is fabulous.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

First I stamped that yummy background stamp with a light gray ink (Fog…my favorite!), then I stenciled the rainbow stethoscope stencil over the top using neon inks from Maker Forte. I love that you can still see the stamped designed behind those inks.

I used some Metallix gel on the stethoscope and added some glitter while it was still wet. Some Limewired gems added even more sparkle to the card.

I also have to shout out to The Rabbit Hole Designs for their new mini blending brushes…I could ink on the rainbow arcs without having to mask off the other arcs! I have a feeling I’m going to use these a lot.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Halloween Color Combos

Hello! Today I have a video sharing my favorite Halloween ink Color Combos. I have the most amazing Halloween Mandala stencil from Miss Ink Stamps and I will create 3 easy cards!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

Take a look at the detail on this Halloween Mandala stencil! So beautiful. For this card I used some purple and black Distress Oxide inks.

I heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder (3 times) to create a metallic looking embellishment. Then just a few silver sequins finished off this card.

I watercolored the cat for this card (using a blue undertone). Watch the video to see the watercoloring tips!

I used 2 sentiments stacked together to finish this card.

The large “Spooky” sentiment is perfect to fill up a card front. Just add a few ghosts with foam tape to complete this one!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
