Hello! Today I have MORE easy summer cards to share using Maker Forte products. I love the Seaside Silhouettes and they pair perfectly with the A2 spotlight stencil.
These cards are so EASY and super fun to make. They are also very quick. I love the designs in the background…doesn’t the hammock card with bubbles look so dreamy? I wish I was hanging out in a hammock right now. Lol.
I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
I love easy summer cards! Today I’m sharing a quick card and video using products from Maker Forte. This set is a large 6×8 set designed by Jess Francisco and I love it!
This stamp set is FILLED with fun summer images and I have so many fun ideas! This is my first card I made with the set, and it reminds me of a T-Shirt I had many many years ago.
I stamped the “sun” image with 4 colors of Distress Oxide inks, to get a gradient reminiscent of a sunset. Then I stamped the large palm trees in a black ink and heat embossed over it with clear embossing powder.
Next, I stamped the sentiment “You are my sunshine” with a teal ink. I finished it all off with some gems.
The cardstock is English Mustard cardstock from Maker Forte (and it’s a favorite of mine)!

I’ll be back real soon with more easy Summer Cards!
Hello! Today I’m sharing my last card for the musical Kit from Hedgehog Hollow. Do you ever have an idea that pops in your head and you just KNOW you have to make it? That’s what happened to me with the harps in this kit.
I knew I wanted a thank you card with the 2 harps, so I started off by inking on the clouds using some of the most DELICIOUS new colors of ink from Catherine Pooler. (I have linked them below if you want to check them out!)
Then I used the 2 kinds of foil from Maker Forte (gold & silver) to foil the harps. I initially thought I would use the heart notes, so I foiled that in red.
I didn’t love the black notes that were left on the second ephemera, so I foiled it AGAIN using the silver foil.
This didn’t take me too long and look at those results! I wanted to share with you that you can foil over any black remaining if you want to. But I ended up not using that in my final card.
Instead, I added a couple red hearts and a Simple Sayings sentiment: “You always go above and beyond!”

Hello! Today I am sharing a brand new Mermaid Kit just in time for summer! This is the first time I have ever tried out one of these kits from Not 2 Shabby Shop, and I have to say that I’m so happy with it. I have a reveal video of everything in the kit and FIVE cards to share today!
I sat down with this kit and made FIVE cards right away. I had way too much fun and just couldn’t stop! This first card is using the ephemera in the kit (no coloring involved!) and some of the patterned paper from the kit. There are both slimline papers and 6×6 papers. I also added a bunch of the sequins that are included, for a very easy card!
This second card, I stamped the image this time and colored it with my copics. I love that you have the option for stamping or using ephemera! This patterned paper was some of my favorite.
The Narwhal in the stamp set is so cute, and it made me smile every time! I just had to use that on this card. I created some backgrounds with some new ink colors from Catherine Pooler and they have such fun movement to them.
Probably my favorite sentiment is this one: “Magic is all around, you just have to believe.” It’s a really fun design, and I used this sentiment stamp along with the beta fish for some magic on this card. Can you see the glitter I added to his tail?
The seahorses were also a favorite and how great is it that they have the mirror image so you can face them towards each other?! I love that. I made just a simple card with these guys, and added a “Hugs and Fishes” sentiment strip to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed this look at the Mermaid Kit! I hear these kits sell out fast, so if you are interested, go take a look right away. I still have so many ideas and cards to make with this kit…and I think this could keep me busy all summer. Lol. Happy summer!
