Hello! You might already know that I love flamingos! I love stamps of flamingos, I love coloring flamingos and I love making flamingo cards. A couple months ago, I shared a Flamingo Silhouette stamp and how to layer stencils with it (see that video HERE).
Today, I have a NEW stamp that is perfect for COLORING! This “Flirty Flamingos” stamp set was just announced TODAY, so if you like it…head on over and get yourself a set before it sells out!
I am sharing my FAVORITE color combination for coloring flamingos in my latest video. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:
I LOVE this new stamp set (designed by Alex Syberia) and it’s a blast to color! I paired it with a leaf stencil from Maker Forte, and gold heat embossed the top portion of the sentiment to really stand out.
That flower crown on the flamingo on the right is so unique and easy to color as well. I finished it all off with an enamel heart. Did you notice how I colored the one on the right a bit darker shade of pink/coral? I wanted them to be a little bit different. (I’m guessing that one on the right has eaten more shrimp! Lol)
I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this flamingo project. :)
Hello! I’m back with another fun set from the Maker Forte new release. This is another favorite of mine, designed by Alex Syberia (and you know I’m a big fan of Alex Syberia!)
This set is called “Be In Vogue” and it has some beautiful images. I created two cards this time, with some bold colors and designs!
CARD 1
I used the beautiful (and foilable) zebra print paper from THIS paper pack. Then I stamped out the pair of shoes with THIS ink.
I stamped and gold heat embossed the supporting images: the purse, sunglasses, and perfume. Then I watercolored them using THIS ink.
The sentiment was gold heat embossed, too, to bring it all together.
CARD 2
For my second card, I chose a few of the smaller images to create a sort of patterned paper. I used a variety of ink colors for this one and a bunch of gem colors, too!
I really love the sentiment on this one! Those sunglasses in FOG ink are just awesome! I cut this down to mat on a hot pink cardstock.

Hello! I have a fun birthday card to share today with a new stamp set called “Perfect Match.” This set is a smaller set and is filled with fun sentiments. I especially love the one that says “You’re Still hot, it just comes in flashes now.”
Ha ha ha! That’s the one that I ended up using on my card today. Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:
I’m sharing some fun resources and TIPS for creating quick birthday cards. For example, if you are in a hurry for a card, try using patterned paper instead of creating your own background.
Also, use larger sentiments or alpha dies to fill up the card.
Can you see the glitter I added to the matches and flames? I love my Stardust Stickles!

Hello! Today I have a card to share where I combined the June 2021 and July 2021 Hedgehog Hollow Kits to create a Fruity Retro card. These kits are fun to combine, here’s what I came up with:
For this card, first I stamped the diamond outline stamp from the July Retro Kit onto a card panel. Then I used the diamond SOLID stamp to fill it in with Pop Art ink. I stamped a few of the star images from that kit onto the background.
I stamped the “thank you” and “so berry much” stamps from the June kit with some purple ink.
Then I stamped and colored up some fruit images with Copic markers. I fussy cut these out and adhered most of them with liquid adhesive. Some of the smaller fruit I popped up with foam tape.
I finished it off by adding it to a purple cardstock mat and a top-folding card base. And that’s it!
Hello! Today I have a sneak peek at the new Stamp set called Birthday Gnomes by Miss Ink Stamps. I’m also sharing Tone on Tone stenciling (a favorite technique of mine).
