Wild Cheetah Card

Hello! Today I have a Cheetah card to share using multiple stencils from Miss Ink Stamps. I love how striking this card turned out and it’s so easy!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I used the mask stencil from Cheetah Portrait stencil to begin…I LOVE that the mask stencil was included. There are so many options you can do with this mask included!

I inked the background first with one of my favorite colors, then I added the Cheetah Spots using the same colors. After that, I was able to ink on the Cheetah using the layers of the stencil. (see all the details in my video)!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. I hope you enjoyed this project today! Thanks for stopping by.

Very Peri(winkle)

Hello! Today I have a special post using the Pantone Color of the Year for 2022…it’s Periwinkle! Altenew Educators are getting together for an Instagram Hop with prizes, so be sure to visit my IG page (@kariavan) to start on the hop.

Here’s a sneak at my cards, and I have a video to share below!

I really love this layering stencil and this layering die together! I switched the colors to create the Periwinkle on the BACKGROUND and the additional grey color on the FOCAL FLOWER.

Purple, Grey, and Gold are really spectacular when you put them together!

I added some gold sparkle to the background and I show you how to do it in my video! Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

SUNSHINE-Sorry-I-was-moody-card-1-crooked-Kari-V

Two Bunnies and a Duck

Hello! Today I have some cute Easter cards to share: Two Bunnies and a Duck! These are created with a set that is called “Sorry I was Moody” from Maker Forte, so they are not necessarily Easter images, but I think they make the perfect Easter cards!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

Card One: Stay Hoptimistic

I love the image of this bunny eating a piece of lettuce. I paired it with a floral stencil to make a happy Spring background.

I added a rainbow of gems to distract from the faint cross in the background…see the video for details on this card!

Card Two: Every Bunny Needs Some Bunny

For this card I actually stamped the bunny image with the Laurel Wreath twice. Once on this background, then stenciled on the basket weave stencil in a light pink ink. I cut out the bunny from the second image and popped it up with foam tape on top of the first image. It added some sweet dimension to this Spring card.

Card Three: Waddle I do?

I love that little duck image. This time I used the image without the Laurel Wreath. Instead, I stenciled on the Layered Easter background, added some marbled paper, and popped up that duck.

The sentiment is so so cute! Waddle I do without you?

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back soon with more cards!

Orangutan Card

Hello! Today I’m making a scene with some new products from Miss Ink Stamps. Have you ever made an orangutan card? Yes, I did look up the spelling of orangutan to make sure that I spelled it right! Lol

I created a short video with tricks to creating this scene, watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I started by coloring the jungle ruins and the big green leaves TWICE. I colored up the first layer of leaves in only one shade of green. Then I colored up the second panel of leaves and fussy cut them out so I could LAYER them on top. This creates fun dimension to this card.

How cute are those monkeys?! I also added a second layer of the palm tree on the left. I popped up the orangutan and the sentiment, too.

For the sunset, I ink blended some Distress Oxides in three colors. Then I cut the top of the Jungle Ruins panel off to reveal that sunset!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Hope you enjoyed this card process!
