American Gnome

Hello! Today I have a quick card sharing the June Hedgehog Hollow kit products. This month is full of fun Patriotic themes: 2 stamp sets, 3 stencils, 1 pack of Americana ephemera, and 1 pack of papers! Of course, I had to start off with my favorite stamp and stencil to create this card:

I love that flag stencil! I used Telephone Box ink for the red stripes, and Vegas Strip ink for the blue part. Then I added the white stars using embossing paste.

While that was drying, I stamped the gnomes in the same blue Vegas Strip ink and added spots of color with Copic Markers.

That sentiment is perfect for this card! I fussy cut the gnomes and popped them up with foam tape. The entire panel is matted with black cardstock. Isn’t this a fun card!?

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed this project! Check out my reel on Instagram to see a sneak of everything that’s in the kit and how I made this card.

I’ll be back soon with more to share!

Pretty Pansies

Hello! Today I’m excited to be up on the Maker Forte blog to share a set of cards with Pretty Pansies! I am using their new Layering Pansies stamp set to build up these flowers…and they turn out amazing. Check out the blog post HERE.

I also have a video showing you just how easy these flowers are to layer up with this set. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I packaged these up as a gift set for my mom, who nearly cried with joy at opening them. You might remember that when my Dad died, we made a Pansy garden memorial for him (he LOVED pansies, which he learned from his mom…my grandma).

Spring Bunnies Cards

Hello! It’s Kari here today sharing some of my favorite rabbits from the new Maker Forte Spring Has Sprung release! This might be my favorite release yet…it is filled with spring stamps, stencils, papers, gems and more. Today I am sharing quite a few cards…but ONLY the ones with rabbits or bunnies!

Card 1: Hip Hop Bunnies

How cute are these bunnies from the new Hip Hop Bunnies stamp set? Here I used the new Decorated Egg Stencil with Grape ink and then stamped the bunny on top. I colored it up with alcohol markers.

I stamped an EXTRA flower, colored it yellow, and popped it up on top for some dimension. That foil…that is a SNEAK PEEK for something good coming soon!

Card 2: Bunny Patch

This card features the new Bunny Patch stamp set…the carrot wagon and the 3 bunnies are from that set. They are adorable! I loved coloring these up with Spring colors. I added some polka dots to the background and used some of this cardstock to matte the entire slim line card.

I also used the NEW Easter Words Stencil. This stencil has 3 Easter phrases that you can mix and match…check out the next card I used this same stencil on:

Card 3: Spring Bunny

I used THIS new stencil together with the Easter Words stencil to make the sweetest baby card. I love a blue bunny! I used the new DIES here to cut out the “Welcome, Sweet Baby” sentiment.

The gingham paper is from THIS paper pack.

Card 4: Bunny Eggs Stencil

I loved this stencil: it’s a three-piece set and you can change up your colors! I made this one with lots of Eastery colors of ink and I LOVE how it turned out. There is also a bit of THIS new paper peeking out around the edges that I am OBSESSED with!

The Happy Easter sentiment is from THIS set.

Card 5: Peeps!

This Eggstra Sweet Peeps stamp set allows you to mix and match sizes of peeps, accessories, and eyes! Here I added a bow to the yellow peep and some glasses to the blue peep!

The background is made with THIS new background set in an ombre of pinks. I added some glitter to the background in various spots.

I hope you enjoyed these bunny projects today! I really enjoyed making them. I love making Spring cards, and Easter cards (and any cards, really!) Lol. If you haven’t seen the entire new release, check it out HERE. I have listed all the supplies in the listing below, using affiliate links when possible. If you purchase using any of these links, I may receive a small commission (at no additional cost to you). Thank you!

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back soon with more cards to share.

Chocolate Truffles

Hello! Today I have a delicious post to share with Chocolate Truffles on a card! I also am creating a Chocolate Heart Box (that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day), but the chocolate truffles can be used all year.

Watch my video below or in HD on YouTube:

I’ve been so excited to share this, but had to wait for these to come back in stock again (they have sold out twice!) So, while this is after Valentine’s Day…the truffles can still be used at any time of year!

For the chocolate truffles, I die cut them with some white pearlized paper and colored them with Copic markers in brown, pink and grey. I built them up with foam squares to get a 3-D look.

I am completely in love with these boxes and can’t wait to make more for next year! I will use different patterned paper to get different looks. There is also an accent die that you can cut out a heart shape on the top of the box and replace it with acetate to make a see-through box lid!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I just love those little truffles with their liners.
