Queen’s Castle becomes the Haunted Mansion!

Hello! Today I have a fun Halloween card using the Queen’s Castle from Miss Ink Stamps. This is a beautiful castle, but when you color it up just a little differently, it becomes a Haunted Mansion!

I paired it with the Boo Crew stamp set Trick-or-Treaters. How cute are they!? I love that the rabbit, mouse, and raccoon are all dressed as ghosts!

I’ve been waiting for the perfect card to blend these ink colors together for a background. This is the perfect card for these colors!

I added that moon behind the castle using a simple circle die. Easy masking makes it all possible! (for all the details, see the above video!)

The new October Hedgehog Hollow Kit

Hello! Today I have a video sharing the NEW Hedgehog Hollow October Kit and a card using products from the kit (and a few extras!)

This kit comes with some fun products and today is a quick card…which, honestly, we all need at times!

I’m using the Nebula Kaleidoscope powder in this video, and I share a SECRET about the best paper to use with the powder, so don’t miss it! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I am loving this sentiment that comes in the stamp set from the Kit this month. There are so many great holiday sentiments included! I heat embossed in gold onto vellum to add over the stenciled Nebula powder.

To complete the look, I sprinkled on some confetti stars in English Mustard color. Yes, they are all attached individually with liquid adhesive! This task is made SO MUCH EASIER with the new Rainbow Craft Pick and Gem Picker.

Kaleidoscope Powders…and introducing Maker Forte!

Hello! Today I have TWO videos for you, one is the unboxing video of all the goodies I got from Maker Forte. And the other is introducing Kaleidoscope Powders to show you what they are and how to use them!

I am excited to bring these to you today. I am still moving into my new house, so these videos are actually live instead of my usual voiceover videos. I hope you enjoy!

I love these new Kaleidoscope Powders…they are fun to play with and offer such different effects on your cards. I show you some of the powders on black cardstock here and make a simple card using the Watercolor Witch stamp set!

Sugar Skull Ink Blended Cards and GIVEAWAY!

Hello! Today I have a simple card share using the small Sugar Skull stamps in the September 2020 Hedgehog Hollow Kit.

I’ve been moving for the past week or so, and I really needed a break. This easy card really helped to reduce my stress levels…and I love how it turned out!

This is a favorite technique of mine, too: heat emboss the skull on the panel (I used both clear and white heat embossing powder), then ink on your favorite colors using a blending brush. I chose some fall colors of Distress Inks.

I added some gemstones in matching color to their eyes to add some unexpected sparkle!
