For Your Princess…and Gamer

Hello! Today I’m sharing some Princess and Gaming cards. These are from the new Young At Heart Collection from Maker Forte and they are so fun.

This princess is among my favorites and I simply stenciled the background and foiled an oval spotlight for her. I colored the image with Copic Markers and picked my FAVORITE sentiment!

Speaking of favorite princesses, there is a brand new set called Once Upon a Time that I ADORE! I have actually colored them up to look like certain famous princesses, but I’ve only had time to turn one of them into a card:

She looks pretty in pink, don’t you think? I added some white gel pen detail to her outfit to make it “sparkle.” That background is made with some shapes from the Boho Watercolor stamp set (it’s so great for creating patterns!) I added some chameleon sparkle paper behind this princess to make her pop.

This card was a breeze to make because that background is a printed paper!! I just colored up and added that carriage with a crown on top, then added a sentiment! So magical.

This last card is for the gamer in your life! Do you remember those hand-held gaming devices? Loved those!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Thanks for stopping by today!

American Gnome

Hello! Today I have a quick card sharing the June Hedgehog Hollow kit products. This month is full of fun Patriotic themes: 2 stamp sets, 3 stencils, 1 pack of Americana ephemera, and 1 pack of papers! Of course, I had to start off with my favorite stamp and stencil to create this card:

I love that flag stencil! I used Telephone Box ink for the red stripes, and Vegas Strip ink for the blue part. Then I added the white stars using embossing paste.

While that was drying, I stamped the gnomes in the same blue Vegas Strip ink and added spots of color with Copic Markers.

That sentiment is perfect for this card! I fussy cut the gnomes and popped them up with foam tape. The entire panel is matted with black cardstock. Isn’t this a fun card!?

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. I hope you enjoyed this project! Check out my reel on Instagram to see a sneak of everything that’s in the kit and how I made this card.

I’ll be back soon with more to share!

Sand Dollar Card Set

Hello! Today I have one last project to share with the May Hedgehog Hollow Kit. There are some FANTASTIC stencils in this kit, and I’m creating a set of cards with them.

I started off with some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, and inked on that sand dollar in a variety of beachy colors. I couldn’t leave out that sea shell, either! So I inked that one in pink.

Then I added some sentiments using one of my FAVORITE stamp sets with lots of beachy sentiments (called Seaside Sentiments). I stamped all these in Remarkable Eclipse Black ink to bring them all together. Each sentiment is a little different, but they all have that beach theme.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these beachy cards today! How fun to give these away as a set of cards. 🙂 I’ll be back soon with more cards to share.

Dandelion Dreams

Hello…today I have a fun foiling project using a new stencil called Dandelion Dreams. When I saw this stencil I just knew it needed to be foiled! I prepared a short video showing this easy foiling technique.

Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

I just love this stencil. I chose a little Wolf from the new Wolf Pack stamp set! He looks like he could be blowing on one of those dandelions, doesn’t he? Make a Wish!
