Cherries x 3

Hello! Today I have 3 cherries projects to share with you using products from Pretty Pink Posh. I love these cherries and I couldn’t wait to make these cards (and an extra surprise!)

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

I started with a simple cherry card below:

I started out with a Layered Hearts stencil, laying down some Uncharted Mariner Distress ink first, then a layer of Glitz Glitter gel. So pretty!

I set that aside to dry while I colored up the cherries and heat embossed the sentiment.

I knew those cherries would make a BEAUTIFUL full panel, so I started stamping a background of cherries and colored them up with Copics. Then, I turned it into a purse!

Doesn’t this make an adorable purse?!? I am currently obsessed with making purses, but a CHERRY PURSE??? C’mon! It’s too cute!

Last I made a cherry wallpaper for this card:

I love a cherry wallpaper, it reminds me of my childhood! Watch the video for the details on putting this card together.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! Check out my friend, Leslie’s store called Cobblestone Creek Studios. She’s in Oregon, but can also ship! That is where I got all my supplies for these cards. 🙂

See you soon with more projects to share!

Designer Purses: Valentines Edition

Hello! Today I’m excited to share my newest obsession with you in creating paper purses. I’m sharing a whole bunch of designer purses: Valentines Edition!

These purse dies are from Scrappy Tails Crafts and I’ve already made over a dozen of them. The details included in this die set are amazing and oh-so-cute!! Think zippers, tassels, buckles, and bows for accessories! It’s safe to say that I’m in love. (AND, they fold down to fit in an envelope for mailing!)

Today I’m sharing 5 fun ways to design and decorate these purses. Watch the video below or on YouTube:

I made so many purses I couldn’t even fit them all in 1 photo. Lol. Let’s talk about some fun ways to design these purses!

1) Patterned Paper

Choose a fun patterned paper to design your purse. I found this gorgeous foiled heart paper to try out and I used other heart designer paper on other purses. It’s an easy way to add some flair!

2) Stenciled Background

See that Paris bag on the right? That was made with an amazing new Layering stencil from Scrappy Tails. I love the pink, grey, and black color combo!

3) Embossing Folders

The pink purse on the left and the heart purse (in between the two red purses) are both embossed with an embossing folder. This is a fun way to add texture and pizzaz to your bag.

4) Foiled Paper

Foiled paper is a great way to add shine, and you really don’t need many more embellishments. I used a glittery bow, a felt rose, and black flap to adorn these purses. So classy!

5) Die Cut Images

I love die cut images on these purses! The flowers on the left purse are from the perfume set from Scrappy Tails…I think they look so perfect on one of these purses. I love the heart dies, too.

The truffles work great on these purses, too…I added a See’s candy gift card inside of this bag!

And these cookie dies might be my favorite on a gift card holder!! I love that the “crumbs” are included in this die set! I put a cookie gift card inside this one. On the back of the gift card holder, is a type written sentiment that says “When things are bad and getting worse, keep a cookie in your purse.”

Isn’t that perfect?!?

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these purses today! I’m off to make even more of them for my granddaughters for Valentine’s Day. See you soon with more crafty projects.

Spot Foiling Cards

Hello! Today I’m sharing some fun cards using Spot Foiling. Since it’s a new year, I thought it was time to bring Alice back for some cardmaking, too! So, I’ve combined the two and created TWO cards to share with you.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I think the Alice Collection might be my all-time favorite stamp collection in all my stamps! I hope you are not tired of seeing her yet in my creations.

Here, I masked off Alice and the tea cups before stamping that large mushroom: this makes it look like they are sitting right on top! Then I colored and fussy cut out the whole image.

I think she looks great with those foiled pink tea cups in the background!

For my second card, I used the Ins and Outs Bohemian stencil to mask off the center portion before adding the tea cups and foiling. This made a nice spot to stamp that gnome.

I just love a little red and pink ink this time of year! For both cards I used Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink as the base color….it looks beautiful with both PINK and RED foil.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today. I’ll be back soon with more cards to share!
