Rainbow Clover Cards (and ink comparison)

Hello! Today I have three Rainbow Clover cards to share! It’s appropriate for this St. Patrick’s Day, right? I LOVE these sets today from Colorado Craft Company.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I made three different cards with three different ink companies: PinkFresh Studios, Catherine Pooler and Maker Forte. I chose some nice, light colors to create the rainbows.

Card 1: Pinkfresh Studio Inks

I made all these cards at the same time, stamping the first arc of the rainbow on three different panels (using a different ink company on each panel). Here is the Pinkfresh Studio Ink rainbow:

2. Catherine Pooler Inks

3. Maker Forte Inks

Which one is YOUR favorite?

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Thanks for stopping by!

Hoppy Pond Shaker Card

Hello! I’m back to share a very “Hoppy” card using some NEW products from Heffy Doodle! This is a Hoppy Pond Shaker card and it was so, so fun to put together. I am just so happy at how they thought through all the details to make it easy for the creator.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love the Build a Pond dies: there are so many details like vines, grasses, cattails, lily pads and flowers you can add to your scene. There are also two sizes of ponds you can choose from! Here I used the smaller pond die, and it has a nice stitched detail around the edge.

The frogs are from the Be Hoppy stamp set and I just adore them! They are happy, hoppy frogs!

Watch the video to see how easy this card was to put together. I used the new Funhouse Diagonal Stripes stencil to add some interest and design to the panel background. This stencil can also be added in the opposite way to create a nice plaid! Love that.

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. Sending a Little Luck

Hello! Today I’m sending you a little luck with this green rainbow card! I love making St. Patricks Day cards with green and a touch of gold. Today I’m using the Rainbow Builder Stencil from Miss Ink Stamps.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I love the look of green with gold! Here I used some Mirror Cardstock to cut out the word “Luck.”

I used the Rainbow Builder stencil for this, and instead of adding the included heart, I changed it for a clover from the Pick A Card stencil!

For the second card, I used some Lunar Paste for the touch of gold.

I hope you feel blessed!

Perfume Bottle Cards!

Hello. Today I’m excited to bring to you TEN cards that were a blast to create. I’m working with alcohol inks today to create some beautiful perfume bottles. These are beautiful new dies from Scrappytails crafts and I just fell in love!

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I just adored creating all these, but you will have to watch the video to see them all come together! I had fun naming all the perfumes, too. Maybe I missed my calling to become a perfume namer! LOL. Enjoy as I share a few pictures here:

Berry Cheesecake Bliss
Floral Fantasy
Mint Mist
I dream of Paris!
Lovely Lavender
Burst of Berries
Sugar Cookie Satisfaction
Tropical Passion
Vanilla Bean Dreams
Sea Breeze Sensation (Scentsation)

I turned this last one into a gift 3D shaker box! This would be fun as a place setting for a Spa Day or Girls Night. I loved creating it (and shaking it, too)!

I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. I hope you enjoyed these projects today! Thanks for stopping by. I’d love to hear what perfume scents you would make…and what would you call them? Leave me a comment below. See you soon with more cards!

Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop!  We are so excited to share amazing cards from our Design Team members using the new release!  For today’s special Blog Hop, you can win a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store!

Today I have a card share using some more of my favorite products from the brand new release! Here’s my card:

Just how adorable is that elephant?!? The brand new Heffy Doodle products I’m using for this card are:

I absolutely adore that elephant sitting on the circus stage! The wonderful part about the Birthday Number dies is: they include the “TH” or “ND” or “RD” to complete your birthday. Like the 4th in this card. Of course you can use it for other dates, too, not just birthdays!

The Carnival Star Backdrop die has my heart! It’s such a beautiful stitched background with stars that you can remove and piece back in (like I did here after I colored the stars yellow with a marker), OR leave them out with a sparkly interesting background behind it.

Here’s a closer look at that circus stage from the “At the Circus Die Set.” I love that it’s a layering die so you can add any colors, designer paper and such to get the look you want.

The presents are from the Wrapped with Love stamp set! Perfect for adding to my birthday card. I’ve gathered all the supplies I used in a photo list for you here, for easy viewing at the Heffy Doodle Shop:
