Day 4: Watercolor Smooshing

Today was a great day for the Rainbow Maker Class! I wanted to make every single card that was taught, and I probably still will. But for now I have an Ink Smooshing card inspired by Laura Bassen.

I heat embossed the sentiment (from Reverse Confetti) with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. It is difficult to tell in this picture, but in real life it’s like a muted silvery gold color. So pretty!

I added a few sequins to finish it off. Hope you like it!

Day 3: Rainbow Die Cuts (Part 6)

And….here’s the final card for Day 3 of Rainbow Maker (I think…) Lol.

This is the remaining piece from making this card. I covered the “hugs” die with glossy accents so it’s nice and shiny in real life. Hope you enjoy!

Supplies Used:
Neat & Tangled triangle die
Simon Says Stamp Hugs die
Waffle Flower Bear & Bird stamp set
Distress Inks

Day 3: Rainbow Die Cuts (Part 5)

Well, I couldn’t resist. I had so much fun on Day 3 of Rainbow Maker and I had to make ANOTHER card (or two!) Lol. This time I was inspired by May Park and I made this card using a Neat & Tangled die:

Of course, when I made it, I had a separate piece that I just HAD to use up, too. I’ll share that card in the next post!

Loving all the rainbow gorgeousness this week!

Day 3: Rainbow Die Cuts (Part 4)

And here’s the last rainbow die cut card I made with the negatives. This was way too pretty to let it go to waste, so I turned it into a fun cherry card:

Sorry it’s a little hard to read, it says: “You’re all that and a cherry on top!”

I have quite a bit of homework to finish up, so I hope to have more rainbow cards later!

Day 3: Rainbow Die Cuts (Part 3)

Of course I couldn’t just throw out the negatives from all that beautiful Rainbow paper! So here’s one of the cards I made using the negative die cut:

(See the original card here for the positive die cut piece)

Those gem stones are really from my nail kit! Lol. They may be small, but I think they add to the festive look of this card. I have one more card to show you tomorrow!
